baller, not everyone has the same experience as you do with Tourettes. No , not all people with the syndrome swear and carry on. My biolaogical father and 2 of my younger brothers have Tourette's and only my youngest brother has the verbal tics he usually yells fart and such. My dad blinks all of the time and clears his throat constantly, My other brother does a myriad of things. So there is a broad spectrum of behaviors. I think it's close minded of you to say that just becaus it's not what you've experienced, that the guy in the video is faking. I will also say that some of the tics can be funny. My youngest brother is able to laugh at his own disease. Not everything has to be so serious all of the time.

Chunky already suggested it but randomly cursing is not the only form of tourettes, its just what everyone immediatly assume when hearing tourettes. i knew a few people who had the disease who did shout out random things but generally it was not obscene, the one person who did shout obscenities shouted one or 2 words at a time and he just repeted them, he didnt have 3 or 4 different phrases.

because he was put into a video like that, im sure he has Tourettes...i dont see why they would make this whole thing if he didnt. but that being said, because he IS on camera he could be putting on a show as well. I do have to agree with baller that some of the movements on the chair dont look natural at all.

 

As I said in my first post, I have first hand experience of the guy and at no time did I say all who suffer from Tourettes swear. That's just Bawler getting on his 'look at me' high horse...

I say he's faking because in that video, they are all faking. It's 100% voluntary and anybody who has had things happen that aren't voluntary knows that.

Did they show the people who can't even live a normal life because their bodies twist and turn and jerk so much that it causes them intense amounts of pain and incredible inconvenience?
