  2. Hello,

You can now get verified on forum.

The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

I need to be able to recognize you in that picture. You need to have some pictures of your self in your gallery so I can compare that picture.

Please note that verification is completely optional and it won't give you any extra features or access. You will have a check mark (as I have now, if you want to look) and verification will only mean that you are who you say you are.

You may not use a fake pictures for verification. If you try to verify your account with a fake picture or someone else picture, or just spam me with fake pictures, you will get Banned!

The pictures that you will send me for verification won't be public

    Best regards,

    StanleyOG.

I have not read about this on my local newspaper or The New York Times. I have not heard about it on National Public Radio. I do not believe The Wall Street Journal or BBC has bothered with it.

As far as the serious news media is concerned this is not an issue. It is only another one of those fake scandals dreamed up by the Republican Hate Machine. The only news story is that in the United States a lot of very unlikable cranks have gotten into a lather over this. In the civilized world people have more important concerns. My concern is that so many people in back woods America care.

Hey El Casanova how about some examples of the main stream media claiming President Obama was wrong when he met the Japanese Emperor?

What is your definition of "main stream media"?

The "main stream media" has evolved significantly over the last twenty years....when the Drudge Report gets more hits than the NY Times, WSJ and the Washington Post COMBINED, I think it has to be considered "main stream". And the bow was all over Drudge for a while.

When Fox News gets more viewers than any other cable news network, then THEY have to be considered "main stream"..and we know that they covered the bow.

Just because you don't agree with a particular news outlet doesn't mean they are not "main stream".

And Stumbler, let me save you the time responding to my post...I'll do it for you:

    "Share...liar...prove it...wanna bet?"

The fact that you consider the Drudge Report (of all things) and Fox News "mainstream" really speaks volumes about you, Share. I'm surprised you didn't go with World Net Daily or Human Events.

Doesn't really matter what I personally consider "main stream", Kimiko. It's what the public is clicking on or watching that makes it so.

*laughing* That's hardly the mainstream either. The people who "click on" them are in the same 20% fringe category that you're in.

Feel free to keep "laughing", sweetie....but you should try to get out of the house a little.

I talk with people all the time....liberals, conservatives, centrists....who frequent the likes of Drudge.

Sorry, I can't help but laugh out loud. The only liberals I know who have EVER been to the Drudge site were trying to find out what insane right-wing nonsense he was spewing today -- it's called opposition research. Drudge is a joke.

Which only shows that you should follow my advice and get out of the house a little.

    The Drudge Report

I just went to http://www.drudgereport.com/ thinking that it would be an ideological, right wing website. I was pleasantly surprised to find my two favorite liberal commentators: Paul Krugman and Richard Reeves. In addition I found a number of other columnists that I enjoy reading, such as Frank Rich and Pat Buchanan.

Thank you, Share, for mentioning that website. I will access it frequently now. :)

Fortunately, most of the world does respect President Obama, especially the civilized world. George W. Bush was an international embarrassment.:oops::oops::oops:.

This thread has 274 posts. 274. Over a guy making a traditional bow to a Japanese head of state. That's pretty funny stuff right there.

Oops, now it's 275. Damn it! :wall:

EXACTLY. Smooth....that's the point. This isn't going away. The more the liberals rail against the unfairness of this being a story, the more it continues to BE a story.

    I hope they keep bitchin.

Now I have just one question........
If someone came to your home and did their form of a greeting to you (no matter what the getting is) how would you react?????

I mean can't people do things out of respect?
Can't we as a human race do things to be civil to one another??
I mean damn what else could be a problem?
Oh wait I know he puts his right shoe on before the left:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

The story is about the right wing cranks who are upset about this. They ought to get a life, but they won't. :(

As you say in England, ballocks - you don't know your own country or your own traditions. Visitors to your queen are still told to back away, and never to turn their back to her as they leave. That's not a simple act of respect. Nor is the crown a position granted by the will of the people. If that's the case, who's running for monarch next term? Is the crown itself a little bauble of identification, like the lapel pin US congressmen wear.

I had heard that british education was so bad that your schools graduated ignoramuses unfit for society. I'm sad to see it's true.

As always, you make things up. I don't hate Obama. Personally, he seems like a nice guy. I just disagree with his policies. I know it's easier to make things personal than to discuss issues, but please quit ascribing your hatred of those you disagree with to others. It really isn't that common, except apparently among the left.
