Personally, I don't buy into the whole mystique about virginity. Your hymen is not some kind of holy relic, replete with mystical powers. It's just something that gets in the way of having sex.

This is such a tough question and even tougher answer. Most people just don't get it. I held on to my virginity until I was damn near 18 years old. Why? Variety of reasons. First, I was a complete oddity (I grew up in the late '80s when EVERYONE was a slut from the age of 13, lol). Second, I had such a huge hangup about sex. Third, I kept waiting for the "right" time and the "right" guy. Fourth, I didn't want to be labeled a slut. Fifth, I lived in a small town where tongues wagged.....The list is endless. But let me tell you, if I knew THEN what I know now, I would have been a complete slut puppy. I would have jumped that hot guy I had a crush on for 12 years. As a matter of fact, I would prolly had jumped on all the guys I thought were fuck-worthy. Ok, so that list was just like 2 or 3, but you get the idea. Instead, I lost it to a complete prick because I was sick of trying to find the "right" guy.

So here is my two cents. First, whoever you chose, rather it be a budding romance or your life-long crush or some random dude, make sure you can look back on it not just tomorrow but for the rest of your life and still be able to live with yourself for not just losing your virginity with that particular guy but for fucking him at ALL in the first place. Second, make sure you have no hang ups or regrets about saving yourself for someone special or your wedding night. Virginity isn't something you can EVER get back, no matter how much plastic surgery you have. And lastly, and just as important, make sure you use a CONDOM because you don't want to catch something Ajax won't wash off, lol.
