  2. Hello,

You can now get verified on forum.

The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

I need to be able to recognize you in that picture. You need to have some pictures of your self in your gallery so I can compare that picture.

Please note that verification is completely optional and it won't give you any extra features or access. You will have a check mark (as I have now, if you want to look) and verification will only mean that you are who you say you are.

You may not use a fake pictures for verification. If you try to verify your account with a fake picture or someone else picture, or just spam me with fake pictures, you will get Banned!

The pictures that you will send me for verification won't be public

Okay, so one Democratic Representative came in the assistance of Bush, out of how many?

And if you are going to quite Nancy Pelosi, quote her correctly.

House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi, who spent most of the day criticizing the Bush administration's economic and environmental policies, told reporters that Chavez's performance at the U.N. "demeaned" himself and the his nation.

"He fancies himself as a modern day Simon Bolivar, but all he is an everyday thug," Pelosi said.

I do not see how you could compare a quote like Representative Rangel who did come to the defense of Bush, compared to Pelosi, who did not come to his defense at all. She just made comments on Hugo Chavez, not once mentioning anything to support Bush in any way.

You are aware of checks and balances, and how the Judicial Branch checks the constitutionality of the laws produced by the Legislative Branch, right?

That is what happens during appeal hearings at the US Supreme Court, when the US Supreme Court decides to listen to a case.

Thank you for admitting the Democrats came to Bush's defense.

Yes. Are YOU aware that when the courts rule on certain issues, it sometimes becomes necessary to make or amend laws to address the ruling of the court and clarify the law accordingly? Congress has that right, and that responsibility.

A (singular) democrat came to his aid of his President.

For some reason I feel that the same would be true of Republicans, if Obama were to be belittled in an UN meeting.

Um no, I did not admit the Democrats came to Bush's defense, I only admit that a singular Democrat Representative came to Bush's defense.

And how many Democratic Representatives were there at that time? Yeah, does not look too good for the Democrats on this issue. Good try though.

Okay, name me a prominent Republican in an elected position who has publicly stated that Rush Limbaugh is an "arrogant and pompous wind bag", or has publicly disavowed anything Limbaugh says. Once in a great while they offer a bit of tepid criticism, and then they spend the next day apologizing profusely, lest they offend him.

Yes, I am aware of that. But that only occurs if the bill gets passed, and turned into law.

Do you forget when Palin was busy trying to injure the character of Obama, McCain took the high road during the election campaign, and made these following statements?

"I have to tell you, he is a decent person and a person that you do not have to be scared of as president of the United States,"

"If you want a fight, we will fight. But we will be respectful. I admire Senator Obama and his accomplishments. I don't mean that has to reduce your ferocity; I just mean to say you have to be respectful."

"No, ma'am. No, ma'am. He's a decent family man, a citizen who I just happen to have serious differences with on fundamental questions."

I believe that is a Republican standing up for a Democrat who could possibly be a President, and did at the end become President.

Not only did Newt Gingrich say that, but defended Obama as well, so we have a two for one on this story.

    http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2009/03/08/gingrich-takes-on-rush-ho_n_172852.html

"You've got to want the president to succeed," said the former House Speaker. "You're irrational if you don't want the president to succeed. Because if he doesn't succeed the country doesn't succeed... I don't think anyone should want the president of the United States to fail. I want some of his policies to be stopped. But I don't want the president of the United States to fail. I want him to learn new policies."

    Then the next day....

Mr. Gingrich called the week of Limbaugh furor "a deliberate strategy by the White House," specifically citing the "intense partisanship" of Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel.

"I think what they did with the whole Rush Limbaugh thing - they can't defend signing the 9,000 earmarks, they can't defend an energy-tax increase, they can't defend [Treasury Secretary Timothy F.] Geithner's failure to pay his income taxes, so they decide, 'Let's have a fight over Rush Limbaugh.' It is the exact opposite of what the president promised ... to focus on large things, not small things," Mr. Gingrich said.

GINGRICH: We are seeing the biggest power grab by politicians in American history. The idea that they would propose that the treasury could intervene and take over non-bank, non-financial system assets gives them the potential to basically create the equivalent of a dictatorship. [...] Look, it absolutely moves it towards a political dictatorship

(CNN) - Former House speaker Newt Gingrich is warning of a third party mutiny in 2012 if Republicans don’t figure out a way to shape up.

Gingrich told the students that the current governmental system “is so sick, so out of touch and so arrogant that you’re going to have a nationwide rebellion at the polls of people in both parties who are just fed up.”

President Obama gave the Europeans every emotional goody they could ask for, and they gave him nothing back. He asked them for help and Afghanistan, they basically said no. He asked them for help with Iran, they basically said no. He met with Medvedev, the Russian president, and they talked about cooperation. And in the U.N. Security Council, in response to the North Korean missile launch, the Russians said no. The Chinese said no.
So it's pretty hard for me.....

A leading Republican voice told the American Israel Public Affairs Committee’s (AIPAC) annual gathering in Washington, D.C. that President Barack Obama’s policies have jeopardized Israel’s security. He also equated opening diplomatic channels with Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to talking with Adolf Hitler.

Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich made his comments Sunday night during a speech before approximately 7,000 delegates. He told them deals cannot be reached with certain regimes because they are evil.

And Tom Ridge lost the bid to be a McCains VP running mate because of Rush Limbaugh.....

    -------

    Eric Cantor--

Rush Limbaugh went just a little bit too far for Mr. Cantor by claiming that Obama is like Adolf Hitler and that health care reform is similar to Nazism. Everything else from Rush Limbaugh Cantor agrees with apparently; he claims Rush is a “conservative voice for America.” He has absolutely no problem with Rush’s constant racism and sexism. He has NO problem with that; that’s the “conservative voice for America.” He had no problem when Rush Limbaugh smeared US vets; in fact he sent out a fundraising letter in support of his statements.

He’s fine with everything Rush Limbaugh says. It’s just that the Holocaust talk means he has to meekly go on TV and express his mild disapproval. How noble.
This is what passes for bravery in today’s corrupt extremist Republican party.

ALEXANDRIA, Virginia, February 6, 2008 (LifeSiteNews.com) - John McCain has received another endorsement in the wake of his victories on February 5, "Super Tuesday." The Republicans for Choice Political Action Committee decided that McCain was the best candidate to make the Republican Party pro-choice following Rudy Giuliani's withdrawal from the race, reported CNS News today.
McCain, a long favorite with the "moderate" Republicans, won significant numbers of delegates in Tuesday's primaries.
Republicans for Choice PAC wants to see the Republican Party transformed from a party of religious values and social conservatism to one of conservative economics and liberal social policies concerning abortion and homosexuality. Embracing abortion is seen as the quickest road to the Republicans regaining power.

    Republicans opposed to abortion ban lose in S.D.Posted 6/7/2006 10:34 PM ETE-mail | Save | Print | Reprints & Permissions | [IMG]

    By Judy Keen, USA TODAY
Four Republican state senators who voted against South Dakota's abortion ban lost their primary elections, raising questions about support for an effort to repeal the controversial state law.
"There's certainly no good news in the outcome for pro-choice advocates," Bob Burns, a political science professor at South Dakota State University, said Wednesday.
The defeat Tuesday of half of the eight Senate Republicans who opposed the nation's most restrictive abortion law might mean trouble for a planned referendum in November to rescind the ban, Burns says. The other four had no primary challengers.

The fact you cannot see another view point is pathetic.

America is about having both sides...it's not a 1 way street.
