I thought I'd post this here in personals, rather than GD, as it seemed a more fitting place to post it. I also know people tend to get irate about things like this - and that's the last thing I'd want people to feel about my leaving. *warm smile*

Now, usually - from other "leaving" messages I've read over my time here - this would be the point where I rant and rave, say how lousy "XYZ" person/people are, and how it "used to be so much better when I arrived here".

But instead, I'd like to do the opposite. I've had an awesome time here, discussing everything from multi dimensional realities to what the average size of an erect penis should be. I can't think of any other forum that I could have done that on. I've laughed and joked, debated on all kinds of topics, and had a lot of fun over the past two years. In fact, it's been a blast from beginning to end.

While I remember, I'd also like to thank everyone who took the time and trouble to talk to me in public and PM me - during my time here I read some funny, thought provoking and occasionally extremely touching PM's. I've talked to many different people, and found everyone to be kind, friendly and extremely helpful. Truthfully, I don't have a bad word to say about anyone here - which is a really nice feeling after two years of posting and nearly 6,000 posts!

But, I feel the time has come for me to move on. I feel I've done everything I can reasonably do here in terms of conversations, discussions and interactions - time for me to venture into pastures new.

I also know many people say they are leaving and return a week later. I won't be, however - I'm ready to go, and looking forward to new adventures in new places online.

It's been an immense amount of fun knowing you all here, and being the small fluffy dog of the forums. And to all those who went along with my own particular brand of insanity, a very warm heartfelt thank you.

I'm not vanishing instantly, but will be leaving by the years end, or roughly a month from now - I felt it was only fair that anyone who wanted to stay in touch should have the chance to do so, and to give them and me time to do that. I don't expect anyone to, but like I said, I felt it was only fair for anyone who might. And for those that do, my PM is always open.

P.S For anyone who wonders about Binky, she's fine with my leaving, and is also leaving herself - independently of my decision. We you could say we mutually agreed that it was time for us to move on.

Fluffy. I've always liked you and enjoyed reading your posts. You were one of the good things about this forum. It will be all that more empty without you. My only regret is that I should have taken the time to get acquainted with you instead of the occasional banter.

I wish you the best of luck as you venture into the wide virtual world. Remember your pillow. You don't want to just go laying anywhere or on anything questionable.
