*wags his tail* Well there's someone I haven't seen in a while! Hey there Wafer, it's really good to hear from you again - and thank you so much for dropping by and saying the sweet things you have too.

*smiling* I'm always learning from Binky, she says she's always learning from me (I have no idea as to what though - I swear that she knows just about everything, and I'm always seeking her counsel or advice about something!) I'm just extremely blessed to have someone like Binky in my life, and loving me, as much as I love her. *happy sigh*

One thing I have learned is that, time and again, I keep finding people I know on my webwide travels. So if I did find you one day, it wouldn't surprise me one bit - crazier things have happened in my world!

*smiling warmly* I've tried the "time away" thing a couple of times to see if a break was what I needed, but like I said, I honestly feel I've done everything I can reasonably do here, and I need to be doing something new and different. But I also never rule anything out, so if it's meant to be for some reason, that I come back here one day, then it's meant to be. And if not, then I had an awesome time here, with the wonderful people that populate this place.

I hope your Christmas has gone well too *grins* and I wish you nothing but happiness in your time ahead. And a very merry Christmas to you, Wafer.

You can't go, Fluffy! Okay, so I know you're decided, and I'm happy for you to be onto new adventures, but it's really a shame to lose a positive light from the forums.

There have been times when you've been the only one staying on the upswing here, and don't think we'll forget about you soon!

Good luck in life. I'm so sad you have to go though!

 

*warmly* I find it incredibly touching when someone like you comes along and says such positive things about me. And believe it or not, I will miss the wonderful people in this place - XNXX is a place like no other, and that's down to two things; the freedom to speak freely, and the people who are attracted here by that. People like you.

And today's my last day here. Wow. Journey's end... and journey's beginning, too. But just as I've left people with a lot of positive memories of my time here, so that one works in reverse too. Being here for as long as I have been, and talking to so many people about so many things, has made me aim my expectations a lot higher, when it comes to some place new.

And I can't help but think, that's a good thing.

Thank you Vega honey, for wishing me good luck on my adventures... and I wish you nothing but happiness and fun in your life's adventures too.

So this is it - my final post here after 5,440 other posts before it. Over two years, over 200 threads I created - at least one of which is still going strong - a lot of fun, a lot of laughter, a lot more chocolicks than is probably good for me, and a lot of fun memories.

If I left people with more smiles than frowns, if I added something positive to someone's day, and if my thoughts, advice or even playing on the forum helped make someone's life a little more bearable, a little easier... then it was all worth it.

*shaking his head in wonder* This little goodbye thread I created, not really expecting anyone to even notice, has somehow turned into a thread with (as I write this) 66 posts, and over 1,500 views. If you'd told me that before I posted this, I would have laughed at you and told you, you were crazy. I couldn't have imagined that so many people would feel so strongly about my going... not just in public, but in private too. (In fact right up to today, I was still getting, and replying back to PM's - something which also amazed me!). I admit it... I'm totally overwhelmed, and never in a million years expected this. *goes all tongue-tied and shuffles his paws*

So I'd like to thank everyone, who took the time, and made the effort, to say a friendly goodbye. It means a great deal to me, personally.

One last thing, then it's time to go. For those people who've been away, and still wanted to stay in touch, but didn't have the chance to - PM Stumbly, and ask him for my contact information. I figure he's the ideal person to help catch any people that slipped through the net. *grins*

And now... it's time to say goodbye, as only a small, fluffy lil dog can. *smiling* I hope you enjoy. Consider it - my own particular way of saying, "thank you".



Waving his tail cheerfully at everyone, Fluffy turns and scampers back to his kennel. Pinned to the inside of it is a hastily-scribbled check list, and he quickly runs his gaze down the dozen or so items written there.

"Binky's hamster wheel - check. Binky's emergency candy heart supply - check. Binky's lil truck - check. Squeaky toys - check. Backup kilt and sporran - check. Chocolicks and emergency chocolicks - check. Even more chocolicks than that - check. Squishy snuggle blanket - check. Water - check. Selection of driving tunes - check. And finally... map of the nearby galaxies - check."

He yells to Binky, "Okay Binky honey, time to get going - fire up the transmogrifier!"

There is a sudden pulse of sound; a deep vibration that is more felt than heard. The air around the battered old wooden kennel seems to shimmer, like railroad tracks on a hot summers day. Then bizarrely, the kennel seems to unfold on itself, growing larger and wider with every passing moment. The tone of the wood changes too, from a dirty off-brown to a glowing silvery sheen.

In the space of a few seconds the kennel as people had known it, no longer exists. In it's place, a gigantic, silver saucer-shaped spacecraft hovers silently a few sparse inches from the ground.

Leaning through the still-open door, Fluffy yells back to Binky; "Okay, now remember this time when we travel, we stay well away from Bermuda, Roswell and Loch Ness!"

Smiling at everyone, he waves his tail on one final affectionate gesture at all these crazy, funny and wonderful humans, then closes the door behind him. It seals itself so tightly, not a trace of it can be seen, and the pulsing, humming sound begins to deepen into a low roar of power.

Hurrying to his console, he carefully buckles himself in, just as Binky punches the "launch" button.

There is a loud, shuddering "WHOOM!" as the engines engage, and in the few seconds before they leave, he turns on the PA system and yells; "GOODBYE EVERYONE - AND THANK YOU FOR MAKING US SO WELCOME!"

Grinning at Binky, he flicks off the PA, and yelling over the top of the now screaming engines, tells her;

"HIT IT!"

Then smiles as she silently reaches out and takes his paw in hers... together always, wherever they go.

Down below, there is a sudden, violent churning of dust from the ground as the spacecraft takes flight at immeasurable speed. And as the dust slowly settles, the people standing and watching, see that Fluffy and Binky's vessel, is no longer there.

But far, far up in the the sky, a tiny silvery speck glimmers for a moment.

A star perhaps?

Who knows..?

See that is one of the many differences between you and I. I have never hidden behind a false facade and tried to make people believe I'm something I'm not.

I have never claimed any of the attributes that you mentioned, are part of Druidry or for that matter part of me. In fact I freely admit to being intolerant, unkind and unloving of others. I'm very selective, I do not crave acceptance from others nor do I care what people think of me. The way I am on here is the same way I am in person.

I fear no one and nothing and that my friend IS part of Druidry. You on the other hand, have shown nothing but fear, in every post you have ever writen on this forum. You have gone to great lengths to hide your true self, from your little doggy persona, to your snide remarks and your attacks on others, those are all signs of great fear.

As for finding people better than me, your right it would not be a hard task. There are millions of people that I would judge better than me in one way or another, but none of them are in your mirror.:rose:
