I liked the classic video of McCain singing "Bomb Iran" to the tune of the Beach Boy's "Barbara-Ann". It was very telling and revealing of him as well.

I've said something similar on another thread. Just because Barack Obama got elected its been worse than having just one party. The conservatives/Republicans don't have any solutions they just drag their feet and snipe and resort to truly dishonest tactics.

The one thing they are right about is how serious the problems are, and yet rather than work together to solve them the Republicans act like a bunch of spoiled kids.

What I pointed out is your foaming at the mouth is meaningless when your moral and rational positions change 180 degrees depending on who is the president.

Actually, Obama is serving his country right now. His life is in danger as many soldier's at war are.

Whoever said that a guy has to be a boot camp graduate to be effective? Going to college takes a great deal of self discipline, like the army. John Adams was never a soldier, but a lawyer instead. He helped found this country and later became a President of it himself.

 

Why is it that everyone thinks that Obama makes these decision to sent troops to war all on his own..what do you think the joint chiefs and VP and advisors and everyone else high up in the democrats are doing?. Sure the buck stops at him, but there's plenty of people behind the scenes giving their advice.

 

He campaigned on increasing troop levels in Afganistan.
