I have had a few women who like porn BUT usually only when we are using it in getting aroused for sex or when masturbating together. Just looking at porn alone is usually not something they did. At least as far as I know Maybe women like it only when getting their male partners aroused but not something they do at most other times. Seems that type of soft porn is okay with women as it involves imagination more and less visual images. I think it's mainly in the past been more 'acceptable' for men then women to view and discuss the viewing of porn amongst their peers. Whereas women are still more unlikely to be open about it, I doubt that none of my female friends do not or have not watched porn (although I have never asked them). Dune is correct - men generally react more to physical stimuli than women do, hence the visual stimulation of porn turns them on more than it does most women. Women are more likely to be turned on by emotional stimulation. Note, I said generally. There are obvious exceptions to this generality, many of them in this forum. (for which I am eternally grateful)

 

I was wondering if men view more porn when they have little or less physical contact with a willing partner or does interest and use remain the same? I realize that I usually view porn more when between partners or when partners are unavailable for any given reason. Does availability of partners contribute to more or less viewing of porn by males and females or is it just males?

 

I tend to agree with the idea that women are more likely to be stimulated by the emotional aspect of romance than by the raw phisical act of just sex.When I first started watching porn the movie makers made many extremely lame attempts at putting a story line into porn.Some porn movies went to great lengths to create a "romantic" story that might in some way attract women to the idea of porn.Most soft core porn movies put alot of effort into story and seemed very much like a cheap romance novel.

In this day and age the vast majority of porn is simply /pick up girl/talk alittle about sex/fuck like rabbits/facial cumshot/next scene. I think what you girls do not like is men watching pornography alone or clandestinely. You consider it a threat. I suggest an easy remedy. You join him and just pull him off while he is watching it and say something like "Oh, I'd like to be her!!". You will find that your man will shoot his load immediately and the porn session will be brought to a quick end. That way you are not threatened by it you control it. Just like you control everything else.

Men are driven by testosterone so they in general have higher sex drive but I also think feminism has demonized porn for years and thus has an effect on viewing porn, religion also plays a big part on people's belief system and sexuality.
