Appears to me that some of you have it mostly right. Men are visual animals...they learn and are excited visually. Women are audio and sensual animals...they learn audibly and are excited audibly and by touch amd smell.

This visual vs audible difference is what gives teachers fits. They must present lessons in both formats in co-ed classes. In a situation where both men and women must do something that someone before them has just completed, the men get it immediatly...but the women must receive oral instructions to complete the task. Neither side is "right" or "wrong", just different.

I think more women enjoy porn than will admit it. It just isn't socially acceptiable for women to say they like porn. Women is the fastest growing market for porn though. That is why there are more and more porns with a plot. The 2nd reason more men seem to like porn. They have been made for men for so long. Women don't get into the 5 min pounding/cum shot clip complation videos. With more plot porns there will be more women buying or downloading porn. They just wont admit it.

I think it's just how we are raised. If a teenage girl is open sexually she's a slut, whore, skank, etc. If a teenage boy is open sexually he's treated as a god among men. Women are taught to hide it, men are taught to brag about it.

 

Men are simple. Porn is just porn and it is good enough.

Women are complex. Unless they can "feel" the characters they dont get into it.

This happens with movies and TV shows that are aimed at men and women. If they made porn soap opera, women would absolutely love it.
