I am wondering if you think you could kill and or if you have ever think about it? Death has always been a part of my life so killing is something I have thought about pretty regularly since about the age of 9.

What brings this up is an experience I had on New Years Eve. Something happened that brought back some thought patterns that medication, therapy, and a long stay in an institution seemed to have fixed 20 years ago.

 

Honestly? If push came to shove? Yes. I have a lot of difficulty feeling any particular emotions about other people bar a very few; I am quite a detached person.

I hope to God, however, that such an instance never arises.

 

In a situation where it was absolutely necessary I know I could. I don't want to, but I could. If I could do anything to avoid doing it I'd try. My soul is rather cold like that. I don't know why....

 

I scare myself sometimes.....I sometimes hope for it to arise again.

 

Yes, I could kill. The part that scares me is that I think I might enjoy it.

 

Now this is a very personal question to be asking strangers. Give me a list of reasons for killing and I will tell you if I would do it.
Also get back on your meds and put the knife back in the drawer.

 

Alright, first one....

You are jumped by a couple guys looking to beat the crap out of a stranger. You hit one hard enough to knock him out and then get clobbered by the second. You get the upper hand pretty quick and just keep beating him until he is unconscious.

Now, do you walk away or grab his head and twist until you feel his neck break?

 

There is absolutely no reason to kill him. He's incapacitated.

Killing him is murder, and the sign of a troubled mind. Get yourself back in therapy if you'd kill him, mate. Seriously.

 

No need to kill the threat as passed, but I might check if his boots fitted me, you can always use a good pair of boots.

 

For my son

I remember my mom saying she would only be able to kill if it were to protect me or my sister. Now, having a son, I realize what she meant. I can see myself doing unspeakable damage to someone that is a threat to my son, whether death is a result or not, to protect him. If just for my own well being, I guess I would put more thougth into it, as I have never been a violent person. Of course, putting more thought into it would probably give the other person enough time to either kill me, or hurt me. Self preservation isn't something that is planned out, it is more of a reflex, so for my own sake, I hope my reflexes aren't too slow!

 

I know from experience that the speed of reaction to your child being in danger from a third party is a little faster than normal, also a little more vicious.

 

As stated before, you shouldn't kill the guy. He's already unconscious.

You don't need to do something like kill a guy just because he was hurting someone. Unless it was children or something.
