  2. Hello,

You can now get verified on forum.

The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

I need to be able to recognize you in that picture. You need to have some pictures of your self in your gallery so I can compare that picture.

Please note that verification is completely optional and it won't give you any extra features or access. You will have a check mark (as I have now, if you want to look) and verification will only mean that you are who you say you are.

You may not use a fake pictures for verification. If you try to verify your account with a fake picture or someone else picture, or just spam me with fake pictures, you will get Banned!

The pictures that you will send me for verification won't be public

    Best regards,

I oppose the death penalty for various reasons.

Firstly, If "revenge" is your motive for killing the murderer, does that make you any better than him? Is killing to save $49,999.75 better than killing in order to gain that amount of money? "An eye for an eye will make us all blind".
Secondly, what if it really turns out that the person was innocent. Can you live with having killed someone who hasn't done anything wrong?
Thirdly, I feel that spending your entire life in jail (without many of the benefits given to inmates) is far worse than being dead. Especially with inmates that know what you did. And child molesters rank very very low in jail hierachy.

So if I had to choose for the killer of my child, loved one, or whoever, the killer would rot in jail.

Well I dont know how comfortable the prisons are in your country, but here in the U.S.A..they arent that bad, pretty nice actually, with lots
of benefits that cost honest, hardworking, taxpayers billions every year.
So in a case like this, I think we should kill him and say some money, but thats just me, oh and btw, this guy is a carreer criminal and our system
has already failed us more than once with this guy. Heres the link to the story, check this peach of a guy out.

Oh, jails are way too nice over here. We had a child molester who, due to some mistakes during the trial, wasn't put in preventive detention. Police was supposed to monitor him. Guess what, he molested more children on a public playground. Does that make me angry? Of course it does. Does that make me doubt our system of justice? Yes, it does. Do I want this guy to be killed? No.
Let him work in jail, and let him work hard.

You are not comparing apples to apples here Jule, one is a murderer, and the other a child molester, in my opinion they should both die, but thats
just me, bottom line is, murderers deserve the death penalty period.

I did say the opposing sides would gather, now watch them both give, in the main, good arguements for their side of the debate.

Read the link, will he make bail, how much does he have to pay a bondsman to secure is release?

I can see why you would say that, I seem to recall reading something about the number of people in Belgium who cheat on their taxes as being extremely high.

    1) I'm a death penalty advocate

    2) If you were given a death penalty in Texas, pre 1995, your wait time for the needle was 18-20 years, but due to a horrific crime against two girls in Houston, the wait time was reduced to about ten years.

    3) If you're given a death penalty in Texas, you actually only have a 20 percent chance of actually getting the needle. Most likely, you'll do forty straight before you're eligible for parole. The reason for this disparity is because of how lawyers work the appeal process.

    4) In a very comprehensive survey done in 1988, it was found that Texas inmates, on average, had committed the same offense twenty times before being caught. It was also found that only .01% of prisoners were in prison for their very first only offense.

    5) The recidivism rate for Texas prisoners is 85%. The fact is that for many, prison is the first structure they ever had in their life. This is because of absentee parents, parental neglect, or parents that try to be friends with their kids. Just in the past year, I've seen a couple of cases in the media where the prisoner is caught, dead to rights, video and DNA placing him at the scene, and the parent exclaiming to the heavens that their child is innocent. With an enabler like this, is it any wonder that junior is a major fuck up?

    The death penalty is stupid.

The correct answer is forced labour camps.

You're on the one hand being cheeky, of course, but you are also right. We do a lot of stuff in black, under the counter and behind our politicians' backs...

It has been a national sport for as long as we've been taxed, which is to say, from the time Julius Caesar got on our arses...

Especially the Spanish and the Dutch were heavy tax-swillers, so, since we were always outnumbered by our 'enemies', we reverted to something called 'civil disobediance' and did anything possible to annoy the buggers we had on our backs. Evading taxes was and is one of those things.

Somehow, it never stopped after we finally became independent. We've always been a people who had to find ways to survive, and we did. We're a people of 'fixers' and make little arrangements amongst each other.

But my emhasis on "DIS-honest" in my earlier reply, wasn't meant to say that everybody in the US is dishonest, but because it gets on my system that everytime someone has to say something about the 'good part of the people' they all of a sudden are all honest as well... If we were all as honest as some claim, then our jails would be empty...

We have our share of tax cheats (raises my hand), but interestingly the IRS seems to only be interested in those making over $250k per year.

For last two years I have been working under a barter system. A services in kind sort of thing, but reporting the cost & reimbursement of materials as income and expense. It may have cost the IRS a few hundred dollars in taxes but saved me a pile of paperwork. Someday, if I work up the numbers, I may send them a check for it.
