    You can now get verified on forum.

    The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

    I need to be able to recognize you in that picture. You need to have some pictures of your self in your gallery so I can compare that picture.

    Please note that verification is completely optional and it won't give you any extra features or access. You will have a check mark (as I have now, if you want to look) and verification will only mean that you are who you say you are.

    You may not use a fake pictures for verification. If you try to verify your account with a fake picture or someone else picture, or just spam me with fake pictures, you will get Banned!

    The pictures that you will send me for verification won't be public

    Johnny Wadd... I told a friend of mine about John the other day. She's much too young to know anything about the Golden Age. I'm of two minds about this man: On the one hand he's a real legend of course, on the other hand he also was a crook, a liar, a drug addict. I highly recommend a very good documentary, it's called "Wadd: The Life & Times of John C. Holmes", you can learn a lot about the man. You'll see many interesting people there: His manager, his (ex-)wives, co-stars, directors...

    Mmmmm... Seka... I agree! Has any of you guys ever seen a documentary called "Desperately Seeking Seka"? Unfortunately I've never managed to get a copy.

    Several companies are specialized in remastering and re-releasing older porn. I'll list a few, tomorrow or so. As for old loops featuring John the problem is that many of these loops simply got lost.

    Who are you referring to? As for pornqueens of the Golden Age many of them are still alive, why not? Every now and then one of them dies: Marilyn Chambers and Erica Boyer died not so long ago, Rest In Peace sweet ladies... Others disappeared without a trace after they left the industry, Hyapatia Lee even faked her own death. I remember that very well.

    Seigar, it looks like I really have to start that Golden Age thread...

    I don't mean to bring anyone down..........but I am sure I saw a recently made documentry on the 1970s & 1980s porn indusrty in California which gave the impression that AIDS claimed several of the actors and acresses. It was of course before anybody knew what it was.........and by the time they did it was too late!
    The documentry then went on to say how the industry woke up to the problem and now all actors & actresses are regularly tested etc. I remember one clinic was set up by a former porn actress...........sorry about that.......we can get back to enjoying the dirty pictures now......:excited:

    Doesn't bring me down. It's the sad reality, it's part of the whole topic. That documentary was right, several people have died from AIDS. John Holmes is one of them.

    I guess that former actress they were talking about is the wonderful Sharon Mitchell. IMO one of the most important people in the industry.
