Eric like I said in my last post I am not discussing the under age issue anymore and I am a man of my word.

The spelling issue though, I do not know if you are aware that some words spelled differently in the U.S.A. and U.K.

Dont you think thats a bit much. I mean to say they are evil is... well to put nicely it doesnt really make sence. heres why- many underaged girls look like they are older. And they will lie about their age. So a guy can commit statutory rape without realizing, does that make him evil? i dont think so. besides a number thats underage in one country or even state may not be in another.
as for that other thing I thing it depends on how underaged if its like 14 is the youngest (and im not really that confortable that) then its ok but if were talking children here then thats just sick and wrong.

Look unless you all are willing to start burning books... There is nothing wrong with fantasy. Because I can name more than a dozen books that contain all sorts of bad things in them. Its like saying that reading Stephen King leads to murder. Playing violent video games trains kids to be violent? or does it give them an outlet for frustration that they might not already get? When you start closing doors you have to close all of them...

Has anyone gone to their local book store and picked up anything the Marquis de Sade has written?

If not I urge you to do so... Once you have think about how easy it was to pick up that book and how freaking disturbing it is and then remember you picked it up in a public book store.

Also I recommend you try and find some books by Anias nin. She, wrote her stories at something ridiculous like 4 cents a word, and the cover the full gambit from pedophilia to necrophilia and almost everything in between.

Pretty sure you can get these in the library too...

Again can be picked up in your local public book store. Could you send in a kid to buy it? Probably it's on the shelf and most of the clerks are about as literary as a cookbook. Are there any warnings on these books? Not that I have seen. *shrugs*

Was Agatha Christie a mass murderer? Could she or should she have been charged with homicide? If you say yes, then frankly there's something wrong with you. She wrote about dozens of murders, but she killed (as far as we know) no one. What about her readers, millions of them, across the globe. Are they guilty of homicide? Are they glorifying murder? Are they promoting murder? Do you think someone could be driven to kill by reading one of her novels? Again, I doubt it.
So what's the difference if some one writes or reads about incest, or under age sex, or rape? They are all crimes. What makes people think writing or reading about them is in any way encouraging or justifying doing it? If it is, then why is Agatha Christie Ok to write about murder? It's double standards and it stinks.
Use your right to free speech to make an informed choice and don;t read if you don't want to, but don;t think have some obscure right to condemn others who do read it. If reading about murder is OK, so is reading about child se, rape, incest etc.

 

It all depends if their partners in there stories are of similar age, not 13 and 20 or wider apart.

 

Nobody should be going anywhere. Everybody just stay calm and don't get carried away.... or banned!

 

As long as they remain stories and fantasies no one is harmed. Some fantasies are sick to be sure but nobody has the right to define what we can think, say, or read. Stories are just thoughts written down. I would rather have those freaks beating off to stories than going out and molesting a child, the punishment for that should be life imprisonment with no chance of parole!
