Love has nothing to do with procreating. You are not here because your parents fell in love, you are here because it seems as if your mother was impregnated through anal-sex. Maybe you're defending your horrific actions.

I understand the child has not developed, but I'm not going to throw the man into prison for fallen in love, unless he did something wrong like harm or hurt the child, at least ones that are 13-14 years old. I will still throw them in prison if younger.

Nobody gets thrown in prison for falling in love. You end up in prison for having sex with an underaged person, which would be considered "doing something wrong".

 

I don't think falling in love is really the issue here.

 

That would work in a perfect world.
But unfortunately, not all parents think of their childs welfare first. If all parents were responsible, there would have been no need for the laws to be created in the first place....

I am saying that a child that young is vulnerable, and does not fully understand what love really is, or the consequences of engaging in the sex act with that other person.

I lost my virginity when I was 13. I *thought* I was in love, but really I was just being manipulated by another. If I was older, I would have realized that. If I was older, I wouldn't have been afraid to say "no". And I was a very mature 13 year old, in body and mind.

That's why I don't believe that the age should be lowered.
Also, the way the brain develops is not an opinion, it is a fact.

 

you think a 12 year old has the ability to make decisions like that really, your 20+ and i dout you would evan make the right decision if you where in a 12 year old girls shoes.

 

You should try to learn that love is not sex. You're one of the reasons why laws like the one you want to change are needed. I bet you'll tell the little girls "If you love me, you'll let me fuck you".

In your original post you talked of 12-13 year olds, not 16 year olds with 18-19 year old boyfriends. Really, this back-peddling is doing you no favours. I'd quit trying to justify yourself and come back with a new id...

But in the real world, those distinctions are meaningless. A 13-year-old cannot simply make sound decisions, free from influence by an older person. Read Nympho's post. The laws exist to protect young people, and I see a lot of downside and no benefit in changing them.

 

Nope, I would never ever touch a underage girl, but some people do in fact fall in love. WTF is wrong with that, some states allow 16 year olds to merry 20 year olds with consent. But I guess I'm the bad guy for even posting this in the first place. If you feel this way I personally in my personal life agree, outside enjoying the story forum that is.
