I casually read the bible a few months ago, bloody hell, how many acts of genocide are in it ! Its a truely frightening book. Then some christians have the nerve to say to me "Where do you get your morals from if theres no God?" Hell the last place i want to get my morals from is God and the bible.

Good Christians pick and choose what to take from the bible. So how can it be the gospel truth ? as you can interperate it to mean what ever you want it to mean. Same with the Islamic holy book. Essentially if your picking and choosing whats right and wrong from these books, your morals DONT come from these books or god. They come from within you. Something that has been hardwired to your brain through evolution which helped the survival of your tribe.

Religion as a whole really upsets me. The impact it has on the world. The countless murders done in its name. The holding back of technology.

If it wasnt for science, the people protesting on the streets, with their extremest muslim, christian or whatever views, would be too busy hunting and gathering for food and water in a peasant lifestyle. There would be no time to preach, what with dirty water, diseases like smallpox and the plague, and death at the age of 25(if your lucky). God didn't magic medicine or soap now did he.

In all reality, I don't have a problem with muslims at all but most americans I know do hate them. As a native american who looks like a mexican i'm kind of used to being treated like a second class citizen in this country so I kind of know slightly what they have to deal with.

The average american is ignorant and blames an entire culture on a few religious extremists. They seem to forget that we have plenty of religious extremists of our own and it's not like our country has never done anything wrong.

I'm very proud to be an american, fly a flag in my front yard EVERY DAY, not just holidays but as a country we have persecuted many others in the past and still to this day treat gay people like second class citizens by not allowing them the same freedoms as others. I can very well understand why most other countries hate us.

First of all you have to understand .. that war done for politics is different and war done for fighting for rights and for thier own land ...which is done by freedom fighters is different ok !

Turkey and Ottoman .. or Iraq and Kuwait.. they are completely for political reasons like USA , and in Past you guys had world wars..
