I deal with everyone on a person by person basis. I know Muslims I like, respect and think highly of. There are others that I can't say that about.

I go to church with Christians that I neither like or respect. But there are many I do respect.

I have friends who are Democrats and others are Republicans. For my wedding I had both Black and White friends standing up for me in my wedding party.

Like I said, I deal with people on a person to person basis.

However, we ALL make generalities when it comes to groups. Democrats generally think Republicans are selfish and greedy. Republicans think Democrats are generally, misguided and shortsighted.

When it comes to Islam as a group, I generally think it is a religion based in violence.

Shes throwing out a nice area and suggesting that she can afford things we cannot which in turn makes her better, which in turn makes her right. I will concede that it does depend on the intent of the speaker and since she isn't speaking it is hard for me to hear her tone, but that's what i took from her statement
