My country has issues also ......... we are fortunate in that we have several pollitical parties that FORCE accommodation upon us. I have watched several programs in recent weeks each of which shows various American communities and groups banding together to try and force your Gov't. to act. Tea parties and now Coffee parties .. it would seem that many Americans are pissed off.
The Cafferty file on CNN regularly brings up Congress and the Senate and their inability to " get it together " ..........
According to that show about 95% of incumbants are re-elected in the USA. Electoral boundries are moved about so the incumbant will win ...

Not exactly true boundary's are shifted if there is a misrepresentation like an extremely large population increase into one area would shift school boundaries and political ones. the incumbent can't shift them and they certainly have no say in the matter but many people in America are single issue voters around 20% and many are party voters ~20% and many vote for the person who looks the most like a politician ~20%, so if a democrat gets elected to office and doesn't shake things up the person can usually stay in office for a while because people feel that you shouldn't fix things if it isn't broken. Also a shift in political boundaries weakens an incumbents position as less people know who the politician is so he has less built in support. Also i have yet to find a media outlet in America that is not biased so watch what you read in Canada it probably isn't the whole truth and it might be harder for you to tell because you don't know whats going on in our politics, unless you do of course it's quite possible you know more about America then the people from the USA on this forum. Last Clarification America is not was not and hopefully will never be a democracy.

In Canada we get all USA networks .... where I live we get CNN international and CNN domestic ... to my knowledge Canada is the only nation to get CNN Domestic ..... I could be wrong there.
