Sadly, I have reached the same point. God I hate it when they call me "Sir".

 

I can relate to the last, Kimi!!! When I was in my 30s and up to about---say----four years ago, without trying myself I regularly had 18 to 25 year old girls flirt with me outrageously and I took advantage of at least SOME of it...but the last three or four years----essentially nothing.

It is like I hit an 'age wall'. I am personable, but not pushy and I feel a bit foolish hitting on 20-somethings when I'm 40-something, so I am no longer in the running for that age-group, I guess!

I'm in the same boat. Until I was 52 I was dating girls in their 20's, and even one that was 19. But the last few years, not a second look. Guess we reach that point where we are no long "handsome older", and just "old". lol

most of what you say is correct for a *small group* of young girls...and with these, if one is not careful, the hunter becomes the hunted. They are fun to toss cash at for a quick fling but that is all.

I had one such young lady tell me a few months back, "You can never have too many Daddies".

Whenever the economy is in a downturn there are more that need help. I prefer young women with ambition which are trying to formulate a plan to have their own lives. I have helped one become a nurse, one be a dental assistant, several to get off drugs and find jobs and a couple to graduate college.

Some go on to become what you talk about (professional daughters) however others make something of their lives. Got a letter form one the other day that ended with "thanks for being my friend when I needed one'.

I like to think I am investing money and not tossing it off a bridge.
