What exactly am I sheltered / separated from when I went to an INTEGRATED k-12 education, and here in college are people from all sorts of backgrounds. Why do you think that a good education can only be obtained by rich, "sheltered", people when clearly it can be obtained by any race and background?

What the fuck is 100K+ talent? It doesn't need "talent" as much as a GOOD EDUCATION that even the poorest person can obtain (loans/military/scholarship). Do we really need to bring down a list of jobs that make 100K+ after a few years and a few promotions? Six figures is NOT the salary of a RICH person, it is the salary of an upper middle class person. It is an salary that many middle class people can obtain if they have good education, common sense, and dedication. Whats next, five figures being considered rich?

The correct answer is: Anybody who talks about 100K+ talent doesn't have a fucking clue what 100K+ talent is. 100K+ talent should be the most important people in a company/place of employment. That means, in a consumer-product type of company, 100K+ talent is the people who are actually involved in either production or sales. Also, completely unnecessary professions, like everybody involved in the Stock Exchange, isn't 100K+ talent. You don't deserve 100K+ to play with other people's money that you did not earn, or to tell people what to invest in, or trade stock of companies. People don't need to have somebody tell them what to invest in or to invest for them if they have the slightest bit of a clue how to manage their money. Doctors are 100K+ talent; People in the actual fields that others teach about are 100K+ talent; Entertainers are 100K+ talent; Athletes are 100K+ talent. Why do you deserve 100K?

And you're sheltered/seperated because you have opportunities that the majority of people in our generation do not; that's how. You come from the middle/upper middle class; that's how. You won't be dealing with the problems that the party that YOU support dumped on our heads; that's how. You're a part of this generation only by birth-year.

Because I didnt fuck up with the law, did decent in school, and got into college? I had the SAME OPPORTUNITIES as the other kids all throughout my life, I went to a school that had poor kids, and rich kids, and middle class kids; no-one got told they cant get try and get good grades. In college I have the SAME OPPORTUNITIES as the rich people, the poor people, and the middle class people; same thing.

I deserve to make 100K+ a year because a company said so. The job I'm getting is because I worked hard to get a good education; a college degree; and thus I'm hired. And to all the people who thinks this legal way of life that doesn't rob or cheat is undeserving of its rewards... What is? What you judge as not deserving 100K+ a year doesnt mean anything. You think that companies LIKE handing out 100K+ salaries? They want the salaries as LOW as possible, and if the market is full of people that are capable of 100K+ jobs, those salaries would be dramatically cut.
