  2. Hello,

You can now get verified on forum.

The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

I need to be able to recognize you in that picture. You need to have some pictures of your self in your gallery so I can compare that picture.

Please note that verification is completely optional and it won't give you any extra features or access. You will have a check mark (as I have now, if you want to look) and verification will only mean that you are who you say you are.

You may not use a fake pictures for verification. If you try to verify your account with a fake picture or someone else picture, or just spam me with fake pictures, you will get Banned!

The pictures that you will send me for verification won't be public

    Best regards,

    StanleyOG.

Sticks and stones, at least we're not threatening to kill children and cutting gas lines into peoples homes...By the way, they got his brother's home, and the head of the Tea Party refuses to take down the address...It just makes me sick to my stomach...

Did you know that I love Nascar, lol???

really? I just heard this story on the news that democrats are handing out free do it yourself abortion kits to anyone who supports this bill. I can't believe Jimmy Johnson has won 4 times in a row, is that a dynasty?

Okay, but she also was a bleeding-heart liberal...This country and her right to vote were very important to her...She was very involved in local politics...:)

    That's what I would say.
It looks like the GOP is promising a battle royal.

  10. I've been trying to read all this horse poopy, but here is where I stopped. I happen to be a politically unaffiliated pro-choice atheist, but sheesh.

The provision was not dropped from the bill. The President wrote an 11th hour non-binding executive order to amend it. The executive order means nothing. His executive powers do not include the ability to write legislation. He's neither the Emperor, nor the Grand Poobah, nor the Messiah. He can neither write bills of attainder nor write laws. Sheesh.

This is why we're in the mess we're in. Even the people who think they are paying attention are negligently, even recklessly, misinformed.

    A.P.

P.S. I'm all for health reform. Hmm. Tort reform. FDA streamlining. Enforcement against illegal immigration statutes. Insurance competition over state lines. For starters. But wait... those aren't in the 3,000-plus page law. Hmm. Wonder why I'm a bit titchy. Sheesh.

Sec.222(e)(4) of the bill explicitly prohibits public funding for abortion coverage.

Your wife goes to the hospital and has the wrong breast removed. How much is your wife's tit worth to you?

Because constipation; gas; headache; stomach pain; weakness; severe allergic reactions (rash; hives; itching; difficulty breathing; tightness in the chest; swelling of the mouth, face, lips, or tongue); bone, joint, or tendon pain; change in the amount of urine produced; chest pain; dark urine; fever, chills, or persistent sore throat; flu-like symptoms; joint pain; muscle pain, tenderness, or weakness (with or without fever or fatigue); painful or frequent urination; pale stools; red, swollen, blistered, or peeling skin; severe stomach pain; swelling of the hands, ankles, or feet; yellowing of the eyes or skin; aren't enough side effects.

    And that's just Lipitor.

All the truthiness of the "abortion controversy."

Why would Blue Cross of Michigan compete with Blue Cross of Ohio?

Not at the expense of the mother's liberty.

  18. (giggle)

Sure. Chopped in at the behest of the non-binding executive order by Pelosi and her myrmidons.

That -ahem- Congress supposedly voted on the bill passed by the Senate late last year, yet it only superficially resembles the original article, thanks to back-room deals of exactly this sort, which proceeded right up until the travesty was passed.

The whole thing would have been overturned on a point of order by now, if this were still a nation of laws.

Gee. My bad. Punitive damages are just about right, and there is no frivolous civil tort abuse, none whatsoever.

Gee. My bad. On second thought, the FDA is doing an excellent job. Every bit as good as Freddie and Fannie. Just ask Barney and Hot Bottom.

The abortion controversy is a red herring. I'm not Republican. I'm an atheist. I'm pro-choice. Pick on someone your own size. Sheesh.

Umm, because each has its own cost and profit center? More to the point, why shouldn't Blue Cross of Michigan compete with HMO's in Ohio? And vice-versa.

Gee. You're right. Choices and competition are bad.

As opposed to the 3,000 pages Congress did pass, which reform... what again? I forget.

Oh, yeah. Mrs. Kucinich gets to have her vegan fundraiser at the White House. There's a benefit. Yeah. Okay. I'm fine with it, then.

On yahoo was a story about a valentines letter that was lost in the post office since 1935 finaly being delivered to a student at Duke university.Saddly, she is dead but they found her family and returned the letter.

What was interesting was a comment that someone wrote and the reaction it got.this is far from a scientific poll but yahoo is a playground for people from all over the world and of all walks of life.I doubt you would be able to find a better representation of America than this.Certainly polling agencies arent this well represented or as diverse. And here is the comment

"...and this is the same government that now going to administrate your health-care by force of arms???76 years is a little too long to wait for a critical operation, don't you think??..November is comming, failing that...windage and elevation."

(For those who dont understand, windage and elevation is in reference to aiming a rifle)

The response from other readers was made in the form of a thumbs up or thumbs down type of vote on the comment.too many thumbs down and they hide the comment from view due to a low rating. This comment did in fact have a low rating and was hidden. But the low rating wasnt as low as you might think.347 of the voters liked it while just 164 hated it.That tells a story about what people think of the abortion that was passed and signed into law.

While I whole heartedly support health care reform and understand that Republicans have done everything in thier power to stop the democrats while at the same time offering nothing of thier own...but the monster that they have created is realy bad and doesnt bode well for our health care in the future.

The world revolves around money and power. It always has and it always will. That's not a bad thing though, so long as the right people have the money and the power. That has not been the case for a long, long time.
