  2. Hello,

You can now get verified on forum.

The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

I need to be able to recognize you in that picture. You need to have some pictures of your self in your gallery so I can compare that picture.

Please note that verification is completely optional and it won't give you any extra features or access. You will have a check mark (as I have now, if you want to look) and verification will only mean that you are who you say you are.

You may not use a fake pictures for verification. If you try to verify your account with a fake picture or someone else picture, or just spam me with fake pictures, you will get Banned!

The pictures that you will send me for verification won't be public

    Best regards,

    StanleyOG.

My taxes have NOT gone up, by default or any other way, as I demonstrated clearly on another thread. In fact, I challenged other people to show me that their taxes HAD gone up. Nobody did.

And I have never said anything of the kind. I do remember, however, George Bush saying he was a "compassionate conservative" and a "uniter, not a divider". I guess that was an illustration of the fuck 'em school of politics.

Nobody ever said that. We said that Bush's tax cuts primarily benefited the wealthy, that they received a disproportionate benefit. And that's an easily demonstrated fact. The top tax rate is at just about it's lowest point in decades (with the exception of the late George HW Bush administration.

I can show you where that tax break came out of my paycheck. All my expenses went up but not necessarily my wages. That additilonal 15% the wealthy have gained came right out of my ass pocket.

Nice try Ace. If she signs in let me know. If she fucks you I'll already know because you'll never be the same afterward.

Oddly enough... I think that we should give the Tax cuts to the richest 1% of the people.... and now I'll tell you why... They Sign your fucking paycheck... if they can't make money Being taxed at over 50% now... and obama campaigned that he would tax them at 98% wait If I have money and I'm going to have a business or start a business and your going to tax me at how much um I don't think I'm going to stay here I'll move to anywhere the taxes aren't as redonkulous. Oh but wait they will give us a stimulus bonus... Wait just a second who pays for that... Oh that's right the fucking people pay for that... So I'm paying money to the governemnt because they make me and they are giving it back to me but I have to be taxed on it. Or did I lose everyone here? Oh I probably did someone break out the fire retardant foam, the idiots hate hearing the truth...

Ahh Kimi its Called health care... I know your not going to get that tax for another two years, Look at what the wonderful thing its done for Massachusetts, and Canada for that matter. Government regulated Health care is a tax.

    Why? you ask
Well let me tell you my dear; first and foremost you can't legislate price fixing... the moment you do that no one can stay in business.

Thus the insurance companies will fail.
But they are too big to fail you say they represent 20% of the economy.
Oh I'm sure that the government will make a move to bail them out. but of course since they cannot make any money they will tell the government to fuck off and sink their own ship.
That will mean that the Government will then collect your premiums... Wait we are paying government for something that was available in the private sector. Hmmm this sounds an aweful lot like Military Intelligence or Government Efficiency.
So I'll ask you which do you believe in more Obama and his Budget or Santa Clause.
Just so you know you can believe in both that doesn't make them any less a fantasy.

    Right end of rant
I feel so much better now.

Okay, so, he didn't REALLY raise your taxes, but by golly, it's GONNA happen, even if you have to twist the definition of "taxation" to include almost anything you feel like. Have I got it right?

Because you admit that you hate hearing the truth, you will hate this. Rich people do not hire people when they get more money. They hire people when they get more customers, even if they have to borrow money to do it. That is the reason that since the presidency of Lyndon Johnson there has always been more job creation under Democratic presidents.

When Jimmy Carter was president the top tax rate was 70%. An average of 2,600,000 jobs were created every year. When Ronald Reagan was president, the top tax rate declined to 28%. The average number of jobs created declined to 2,000,000. When Bill Clinton was president the top tax rate rose to 39.6%. The average number of jobs created per year rose to 2,900,000. When G.W. was president the top tax rate declined to 35%. The average number of jobs created per year declined to 375,000 per year.

You right wing idiots hate hearing the truth. I get tired of trying to push the same facts into closed and narrow minds.

Expanding Government is not Job creation you idiot.

    Truths.

If people have more money they will spend more money

If people have money to invest in business then they are more likely to expand said businesses

If the people who have most of the money aren't able to keep it then they are highly unlikely to do either a or b.

Most small business owners make right around 200k a year so we are going to tax them more so they cannot expand hire new help or anything like that damn I wish you would think before you speak.

Don't talk to me about regimes I don't care about who was president I'm talking about what makes sense and your logic is more or less lacking there is a reason for your dementia I'm sure, perhaps you should study up on this a little more.

Then why didn't employment expand dramatically when George Bush lowered the tax rate on the wealthy? Got a sound-bite explanation for that, Mr. Economics?

job creation under Clinton and Bush

Your "logic" ignores the economic history of the United States since at least the New Deal.

Here is something for you to study. This is an excerpt from an editorial that ran in The Washington Times on July 9, 2006. That was when most Republicans were praising the Bush economy, and claiming that its presumed success proved that, "tax cuts work." I would not expect you to know this, but The Washington Times is a leading Republican newspaper that is sold nationwide.

    -------

"[O]n average, 25,000 private-sector jobs have been created each month since January 2001. During the Clinton administration, private-sector nonfarm employment increased by an average of 217,000 per month. (More than 91 percent of the total jobs created during the Clinton administration were in the private sector.)"
