Americans can't accept policies made by their pollies without threatening them with death, so how do you expect the world's countries that is made up of different political opinions and religious beliefs to come together under the umbrella of one government.

A one world government would never come about....however working to stop the wars around the world and eliminate starvation and poverty is a more achievable hope.

If the government can't afford good quality, no wait health care for everyone, then they should not give crappy health care to everybody.

I can afford very good, premium healthcare for me and my family. It is not fault, or concern if not everyone has healthcare as good as me. And I should not have shitty healthcare because someone else does.

This is not about luck. Anyone can have what I have an afford what I have. But not everyone would be willing to put in the hours, get as dirty or put up with the shit that I have to get to where I am today. But they want the benefits, how fucking convenient.

 

Okay. And in an ideal dreamland world, this would work perfectly. But there isn't one person that Islamic and communist countries would allow to represent them. There isn't one person that could represent the United States either. And do you know why? There are too many people out there with power and influence that could change the way things are accomplished through bribery, threats of violence, assassinations, etc.

The diversity of a nation's people is another factor that requires consideration. With all of the ethnicities in our world, each one would have to be allowed an equal strength politically and financially.

I don't see smaller nations being properly represented through this one world government to be honest. There is already the United Nations, one world government reeks of communism to me. All for one and one for all shall be your credo. Europeans are not 'better off' unless you consider allowing nationalist patriots to roam their countries seeking to overthrow the existing government, all while stating they are for the best interests of the working man.

The people of every nation should be given a greater voice in government, and each government needs to remain 'for the people'. There are no reasons to give the government more power than they already possess.

There is no way to convince every country to comply to strict rules and regulations without the threat of violence or financial ruin. Complacency is not going to be easily enabled.

As far as the threat of violence is concerned, if you get even a quarter of the world united under one government...then any single government would think twice before allying against them. As this grew you'd hold more sway, the only thing we really need is for certain opportunities to arise and greedy self righteous assholes not to be in power...that may be a lot to hope for, but eventually if we are to reach beyond the earth and start spacial colonization this will be necessary to unite the world.

Are you absolutely, 100% certain my people were not once a minority people? Perhaps my people got treated worse than your people. Just because my grasp of the English language is so good I can debate a topic without resorting to either threats or childish insults, does not mean that my people are native English.

Perhaps someone in this conversation needs to examine their own bias and prejudice before hurling insults at others.

 

Really it's just about giving the people the power to take control, and leveling the playing field completely so that Natural Selection and survival of the fittest are again a part of the human race.

Also, it will be necessary either way. We've been living the way we do because the Universe has allowed us to. That could change at any minute, and the only way to be able to survive in the Universe and when nature and everything else shows us who's boss, is to unite as one world. There are many, many things we can't conquer that we've been allowed to flat out ignore in recent centuries.

Your argument is circular. You argue that we can't construct a world government because of disparities in income, education, etc. But it is exactly BECAUSE of those huge disparities that a more unified approach to governance is needed.
