He joined the Marines, signed a contract, that said he would serve, and do what he is told, when he is told.
If he didn't want to, then he shouldn't have joined.

He signed up, either he does his job, or he gets screwed.

 

He's also a doctor. He can be court martialed and he won't lose anything. It's a political statement as cover for not wanting to go back.

 

Oh he can avoid the BCD or the DHD if he resigns his commission on those grounds if he's a Lt Col then odds are he has served long enough that he is no longer contractually obligated. So he's simply making the stand on general principal. He's at ZERO risk to himself. Once you have served long enough in the military at least as an Officer you can always resign... as an enlisted man its a completely different story....

 

Ok, so let me get this right. This guy will go to war for one president, but not keep fighting that same war for another one over something like a birth certificate? Anyone else besides me see the problem here? lol
I can tell you, if I were this guys boss, I would have said, "oh, ok. Well, pack your bags, get off my base, and have a nice life. Oh, and for disobeying orders, here's your dishonorable discharge papers. Good luck!"

 

He also took an oath to uphold and preserve the constitution... if the President is illegally the president then he has that right to... or did the oath mean bullshit to him too? Because we all know the oath didn't mean shit to Obama.

 

Well then he better get his ass in front of a computer and start typing up his resignation before they get to him.

 

I'm sure that he has it already Typed with all the I's crossed and the T's dotted. And I'm sure he keeps it in his inside pocket for when they try and pull some bullshit.

 

That is not the debate at hand, the debate is he disobeyed DIRECT orders.

 

Illegal Direct orders... HUGE difference there. you can be court martialed for disobeying any Legal Direct order... and he's high enough up in the food chain.... maybe two or three degrees of separation between himself and the puppet master.

If he believes the order is illegally made then he has every right to challenge it.

 

I'll have to look this up to find out. being a doctor though, I seriously doubt that his rank has any meaning in terms of his length of service. All those guys are push-button officers, after all. I wouldn't be too surprised if he was still obligated.
