ah I gotcha. that is pretty ridiculous.

so if you can't simply tell the one who is out-ranked by the other that the other wants you to do this instead of that, you'll probably have to do the clerical work in whatever time you're not doing marketing. it's a bitch but you're getting paid to do this so be thankful for that.

 

actually i did. after i made the thread i sent them both an email expressing my ....frustrations....(using less colorful language) and asked for an official clarification of my duties.

the GM responding basically telling her to lay off me. my priority is marketing first and if i'm needed for other duties i work them around my marketing schedule, not the other way around.

i feel better.
