I feel a little presumptuous giving unsolicited advice. Nevertheless, I think you should try to hang on until you get another job. In this economy any job is better than none. If you lose the one you've got, you are less likely to find something better. Try to conceal your attitude toward your co-workers and boss, and smile when you do not feel like it, which is probably most of the time.

The most important thing in a job is a good relationship with your immediate supervisor. If you and s/he genuinely like and respect each other, you are way ahead of the game. If s/he does not like you, s/he will overlook your accomplishments, and magnify your shortcomings.

It is also important to be liked by your co-workers.

Try to see how the situation looks and feels to your boss and co-workers. My guess is that all of you are under a lot of stress. Anything you can do to lessen that for others will benefit you.

It is not always possible to be liked. It is always beneficial to make the effort to try.

There are two questions that you should always think about in a job. If you do not like the job, you should be thinking hard about them.

First, how quickly can you get a job as good as the one you have or better?

Second, how quickly can your boss get a new employee as good as the you are, or better? Keep in mind, that that is from your boss's criteria, not yours. It may be that what you think makes you valuable to the company is something your boss does not care about. That has been true for me twice.

The only time you can really stand up to your boss is when you are essential to what s/he is trying to achieve, s/he will have a very difficult time replacing you, and you have been getting job offers over the phone. It is not fair that life is that way, but that is the way life is.
