No. Once I had a boss who let me go all week with nothing to do at all. Then Friday after lunch he came into my office, and said, "I've finally got an assignment for you. Now, I'm not telling you to work through the weekend, but it has to be ready by 10:00 Sunday night."

Well, I did work through the weekend, and got about six hours of sleep. The assignment was ready 10:00 Sunday night. There were no errors, no problems. Everything worked fine.

While I was working on the assignment, I noticed that the date on the work order was several weeks old. In other words, while I was shuffling papers trying to look busy, the work order was sitting on my boss's desk, in a pile of junk somewhere.

I came to work Monday with guess what? Nothing to do. In the afternoon, he called me into his office. I knew he would not thank me for completing the assignment he should have given me two weeks earlier. I though he would give me a new assignment. Instead, he bitched me out for something unrelated.

He did stuff like that repeatedly. When I would tell my co-workers, they would say, "Oh, yeah. He did something like that to me too."

He had the authority to fire me without cause and without warning, and the ability to replace me in two weeks. I put up with that until I found another job.

This was the guy I mentioned earlier who I complained to the personnel department about. That was a desperate move that could have gotten me fired.

 

I never even noticed xnxxenophobe before. Now he has become a persistent nuisance. :twisted:

lol. I had a boss like that a couple of years ago. She was always on my case about everything. At the time I was working at a fast food place and she'd keep changing my job every ten minutes. I ended up leaving I never do stick around in jobs for very long.

I bumped into her about six months later at a bar and ended up having a threesum with her and her husband.

 

I'm just trying to keep you from talking yourself out of a job.
