As I am dutch I hope holland will win.
But probably Cockateer is right and the germans will win, they are the best tournementplayers.

 

Thank you. Holland's team includes some terrific players, Robben, Elia, van der Vaart (I wish Hamburger Sportverein would get him back from those morons called Real Madrid), to name but a few. But too often they play great - and still fail sooner or later.

Monika, perhaps we should also talk about who we don't want to see with the cup. I for one can't stand Argentina, especially this caricature of a coach called Maradona. Whenever I see this bozo I want to slap his ugly face. Portugal, France, Italy - I hope they all have to book flights back home after the group stage. England, well, I love the country, I love the people - but as a German I don't like their national team (remember Wembley 1966). Oh, and I forgot Brazil, all I like about them are their female fans.

I think that England will win, they started on average but it well is predicting. They have really good football player. I am supporting Serbia and Ivory Coast.

I am having high hopes, that France and Italy will lose their matches and back to home after the group stage.
I am dreaming of the final England - Spain.

 

IMO it was the usual idealess English kind of play. When Capello put on Crouch I knew what would happen. Their keeper is a flycatcher, like almost all the English keepers. England did a very good qualification, but I presume they'll lose their nerves once again, like they did in other tournaments.

Serbia is one of Germany's opponents. So you hope that Serbia will win that group? And where will Germany end in this tournament?

No, Germany is likely to win group but I hope Serbia will be second. I,m Chelsea fan, so I supporting Ivanovic. I like Ivory Coast beceuse Drogba and Kalou are play in this team.
I know that they won't win but I hope that they will present themselves from the advantage
I think that Germany will lose in the semi-finals.
