I agree I have no right to tell you what to do, but I do wonder why you always take a cowardly position when asked difficult questions, I guess you would make a perfect politician as you don't even try to evade them with elegance but just ignore them. So I will ask once again.

As shake as stated and from what you posted you obviously consider all that take a violent position about Obama to be scum like the OP, but do you put your friend deidre in the same category or has she got special dispensation from you?

Now don't be a coward either retract your original position or condemn you friend in the same way. I'm sure she will find a place in her heart to forgive you, but as your vacillating doesn't make me sick it does detract from any integrity you might have had.

 

It is easier to get 11 people who are Russian spies in America than trying to find hundreds of thousands of people that will help our economy at less than half of the wages US citizens will work at.

So basically Soviet Russia all over again in Arizona? Instead this time around the people asking for papers are looking for immigrants and not for a document allowing one to walk a particular street after government instituted curfew?

I'm sure Guantanamo Bay has a sister building for all your nasty little fantasies bladeway. Stuffing people into prison that "look" like immigrants, and packing them in like sardines.

I'd say we knock down another few dozen schools and petrol stations and build prisons in high society's back yard. That'll solve the immigration problem. Imprison suspected criminals as well as actual ones, essentially sending noncriminals to a "how to" class in shady dealings.

 

In all seriousness I agree with what you've said about securing the borders and especially prosecuting employers. And actually the number of illegal immigrants has declined simply because the economy and lack of jobs.

But the question of what to do about the people already here and how we go about that is a real stumbling block for me. Without some kind of amnesty, worker permits, or something we've really done nothing about illegal immigrants already here, their families and all the problems associated with them.

These are the questions we as a nation need to address instead of just screaming about illegal immigration.

 

I like Obama because the very first thing he did when he became president was to shut down Guantanamo.

And the very first action he took in the area of foreign policy was to take the bust of Winston Churchill out of the Oval Office and send it back to England.

Other than that I like the job he is doing because, overall, everything else is going along quite smoothly.

 

Aaah internment, such a beautiful act, and then you realise you have created a situation where innocent people are locked up for looking like immigrants thereby causing massive resentment and a class of people who will not support the government. Plus the manpower to run the camps, where will it come from, the local prison service or maybe put it out to tender for private companies to run, at a nice profit per head.
No thanks fin d a better way of dealing with the problem. We tried internment to try to solve the problems in Ulster by interning suspected terrorists in the Long Kesh camp, but it evolved into a prison and right from the start you are creating a university of hatred.

Obama is a total disgrace to the office of the President of the United States.

He has not been able to fulfill his 'PROMISE' of maintaining the unemployment level below 8%, he has not been able to create private sector jobs, as he has stated that he will do, but the fool has grown government to the point that the idiots are walking all over each other, and maintaining a total irreversible incompetence level. The states created the federal government, the states need to dissolve the federal government.

Didn't really read all the posts but you can mark this guy in the "Totally Dislikes Obama" column. Not a Bush "Fan" by any means, but Jesus...

You could call me a Constitutionalist if you wanted, I believe that the powers of the people are not granted to the people by the Constitution but are granted by what or whomever you call God or a higher power, and all the Constitution does is limit the power of GOVERNMENT. This limited power is based on individual freedom... freedom not dictated to us by government. That is what I believe and we haven't had what I think the founding fathers wanted in a long long time.

Our government tells me that I have to wear a seat belt, that I have to be 21 to drink, that I have to have health insurance, that I am a "killer" or "racist" if I think our borders should be more secure, and if I think amnesty is unconstitutional, that I need to pay a tax if I want to tan in a bed (REALLY?!).

I think we are broke and we need a fixin! I hope the tea party movement does more than just get a bunch of Republicans in office, I hope it get people in there that really do want a change back to individual freedom above all, including special intrests. I hope it is not all just a pipe dream.

 

You may have read post #82, I do hope so because then you are either seriously thinking over the question I posed or have taken the cowards way out and are ignoring it.
