First we get health care shoved down our gizzards and we still do not know all that is in it. I do know we are going to get taxes a hell of a lot more, and that all have to have health care that the government approves of. Who the hell are they.

Yes, it's their responsibility. However, regardless of who is in control, we can't expect a complete turn-around in just two or three short years; the depth the recession and everything it entails is just too severe. It will be 2015 if not the end of the decade irregardless of a GOP or incumbent victory this year or in 2012.

Who is blaming Clinton. I love Clinton. I think he was a great President and a very smart man.
I just think Obama needs to take charge of the situation and be responsible for where we stand now. You can't keep blaming others after 2 years in the office and no progress.

 

All I'm saying is that the Bush Administration spent eight years pretty much blaming Bill Clinton for anything that went wrong.

The truth is, however, that this economy melted down during the last two years of the Bush Administration, and it takes time to turn that around. It's clear that it IS turning around, albeit slowly.

It is always tempting to blame what everyone dislikes on those one more personally dislikes. Republicans blamed the first Bush II recession on Bill Clinton, and the second one on the Democrat Congress which was elected in 2006. I doubt the economy will come roaring back, but if it does, Republicans will say that Ronald Reagan did it from the grave.

 

This is an interesting comment. I never suspected you like Bill Clinton. I love the guy myself. I also like Barack. I do think he made a mistake by addressing health care before the economy improved. Before Franklin Roosevelt moved on reforms like Social Security, he achieved a decline in the unemployment rate.

 

Explain to me how any President can destroy the U.S. Just what kind of power do you think he has?

Then explain to me what you think the U.S. is (or was before Obama) and then explain to me what you think Obama is doing to bring about that destruction.

Also, in your opinion, why does Osama want to destroy the U.S.?

I would just like to know what he has done.....said he would end the war....FAIL, screwed the health care beyond fixing....FAIL, almost tripled the numbers in Afgan......FAIL, shows no support for the military....FAIL, wont even put his hand over his heart during the national anthem...FAIL, hasnt even attempted to fix the oil spill problem in the gulf....FAIL, I dont care if it is BP problem to fix it, the oil spill is destroying our coast line and the hard earned AMERICAN peoples money of the gulf coast!!!

 

I think Clinton was the best president of my lifetime. His strength in my opinion was that he focused on America (rather than what's outside it) and he was not an extremist. His ideas were for the most part well balanced and fair. He did a very good job as president and I would have loved to have seen his wife in charge for another 8 years. Between McCain, Hilary and Obama I would have picked Hilary any day.
