  2. Hello,

You can now get verified on forum.

The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

I need to be able to recognize you in that picture. You need to have some pictures of your self in your gallery so I can compare that picture.

Please note that verification is completely optional and it won't give you any extra features or access. You will have a check mark (as I have now, if you want to look) and verification will only mean that you are who you say you are.

You may not use a fake pictures for verification. If you try to verify your account with a fake picture or someone else picture, or just spam me with fake pictures, you will get Banned!

The pictures that you will send me for verification won't be public

    Best regards,

As a person, he seems like he could be a great guy. But as the President of the United States... he hasn't done so well. In his defense though, it is practically impossible nowadays to be seen as a "successful" president, because Americans expect a president to make them personally rich, have no taxes, produce an omnipotent military, and be handed a very comprehensive retirement plan.

In order to be elected to any political office, one has to make unrealistic promises. A politician who tells the electorate, "We face serious problems that lack obvious or easy solutions. This is how I intend to deal with the problems, but I can't promise that my policies will be successful," will tell the truth, and lose in a landslide.

While I want one that knows what he is doing and involves both parties in the decision making process. I do not care which party he is coming from.

Obama knows what he wants to do. He wants to involve the Republicans. They keep shouting, "No!"

You really are one of the most glaring hypocrites and monumental fool I've encountered in quite awhile.

One of the reasons President Obama's approval rating fell is because he has constantly tried to get the GOP involved in problem solving and has no cooperation or effort at all. In fact the conservative/Republicans remain nothing but hypocritical obstructionists trying to make the nation fail in order to keep President Obama and the Democrats from succeeding at solving the most serious problems we've faced in more than a generation.

And like I said, fortunately the conservative/Republicans can't even do that right and will fail to take control of either the house or senate in an election where even by past tradition they should take control of both of them.

You're brainwashed to the point of blindness when a 30 second google search would save you from embarrassing yourself.

Not that I like Bush but why does everyone keep blaming it on the President? Presidents can do very little without Congress. A president can propose legislation, they can propose courses of action and they can propose military action, but unless they have enough support in the legislative branch, a President has very few paths available to them. The President is not a king.

It is Congress that deserves our wrath, not the President. To be sure, presidents bear part of the responsibility, but unless the American people deal with the failings of their legislative branch things will never improve.

Bush personally abused his office to advance the New World Order. That is why I still jab him.Other than that extreme example,I do agree that the President has very little real power. If he does not "Go with the flow" we all kinda know what will happen.Any how,It is not my intention to high jack this thread.I thought the pic was appropriate for the topic.

Yes, but he abused the office with the consent of Congress. Congress can reign in the president anytime they want. They can take back their power and knock the president on the nose if they feel like it, but they don't want to do that.

I've been wanting to comment on this and I guess this is as good a place as any.

Anyone know what President Obama said at the G20 summit. I'll have to paraphrase it. The G20, following our GOP obstructionists lead, and against the advice of economists like Paul Krugman, are saying they are going to curtail their government spending. Which of course President Obama disagrees with.

But since the G20 also function as a democracy his approach was defeated. Which he said is fine. But don't expect the US to keep carrying the world economy and debt. Don't expect the US to accept unlimited imports while our exports are inhibited. DO EXPECT THE US TO COMPETE ON THE WORLD MARKET JUST AS HARD AS POSSIBLE FROM NOW ON.

That amazed me. So many people would contend that President Obama bends over backwards for the rest of the world at the US's expense, and has no courage. That is just such a crock of bullshit. This is the first time I've ever seen a US president stand up to the international rich countries and tell them they can kiss our ass. The US intends to get back in the world markets, create our own jobs, and look out for our own best interests and if they don't like it; tough shit.

Mr. Bush had Congress scared shitless of him.Nobody dared oppose him or his evil team! The Real ID Act and the Patriot Act were cleverly bundled and shoved down the throats of the Congress. There was no real choice other than passing those bills at the time.(Whoops,High Jack time!)

I guess I really should not be on this thread because I do not dislike the current President.I have pretty much moved on from politics. To be honest,I will never let Bush "Off the Hook",and blaming Obama for all that shit encourages me to post.

We all know that Obama can give a good speech. But that doesn't necessarily translate in to good deeds. Healthcare is a wash, financial reform is a wash, the war is a wash, GITMO is a wash, Don't Ask/Don't Tell is a wash, government transparency is a wash and scaling back Bush Era policies is a wash.

If it walks like a duck and talks like a duck...

If Congress is scared of the President then the fault still lies with Congress.

Things change so fast these days the last thing I am going to worry about are 2012 taxes...........My main goal is to have income and if I am paying Federal income taxes that puts me in the upper 40%

We would be in a fucking depression if McCain had been elected.....

    Why?

Why do you hate President Obama? I wonder if you can express rational reasons for your hate, or if it is something glandular that you do not understand yourself.
