Whatever happens to Quebec, I think Yeehaarider has a screw loose. The Maritimes is proudly Canadian. If any part of Canada were interested in joining the States it would almost certainly be Alberta and maybe BC. (I agree with Pericles, joining the USA is not in the cards for, but the false lure of the United States is more prevelant in the West.)

As for me, IF that were to happen I would hope to move to England or Ireland. The States is in a long and steady decline in importance, I think. Internal politcal fighting and the extreme right wingers make it impossible for Obama to effectively govern.
