  2. Hello,

You can now get verified on forum.

The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

I need to be able to recognize you in that picture. You need to have some pictures of your self in your gallery so I can compare that picture.

Please note that verification is completely optional and it won't give you any extra features or access. You will have a check mark (as I have now, if you want to look) and verification will only mean that you are who you say you are.

You may not use a fake pictures for verification. If you try to verify your account with a fake picture or someone else picture, or just spam me with fake pictures, you will get Banned!

The pictures that you will send me for verification won't be public

    Best regards,

    StanleyOG.

If the NRA was a labor union, it would be the largest in the US. At 4.3 million members, it compares to a total 7.4 private sector union workers.

Don't sell it short, but it's clout is diminished since Moses died.

Jacques Imo is a first class place. I don't know how they're coping with the seafood hardships right now, however. Their cornbread muffins are simply divine!!

HAHA! All you conservative teabaggers are actually dumb enough to listen to Glenn Beck and Rush Limbaugh. I'm going back to my Joy Behar show and then I'm gonna link from the dailykos.com again. Mmmm, a breakfast of hypocrisy.

Hey stop with that partisan nonsense! It's not my partisan nonsense!

The political situation pits the 18.2% who are unemployed or under employed against the 81.2% who have jobs, including the upper income people whose standards of living are improving.
    http://www.gallup.com/Home.aspx

Most of the 81.2% fear tax increases and/or increased budget deficits to help the 18.2%. That is the reason the country is moving to the right.

Meanwhile the 18.2% are dependent on the government. There are five job seekers for every job opening. Employers do not want to hire those who are unemployed.

During the Great Depression there was a consensus that it had been caused by capitalism and its enablers in the GOP. Thus, Franklin Roosevelt was able to make mistakes, and keep his majority support.

Given the current political equation, President Obama is even blamed for a oil spill catastrophe that was caused by lax regulation under George Bush and a corporation that was willing to cut corners in an attempt to save money.

This blows my mind the most. The government isn't bailing out banks to help the poor. A failed bank is going to crush the people in the middle. The uppers and the richest may lose some money, but they'll never be hungry. If the banks failed, the bulk of that 81.2 would be in a soup line with the 18.2.

The 18.2 had nothing before the banks collapsed and will continue to have nothing regardless of stimulus.

And then they bitch about spending, not realizing that ALL of that TARP money + the liquid capital from the Fed has been paid back or given on loan from the Fed.

Just crazy. The Democrats should have let the economy crash and then saved capitalism from itself afterwards just so people could see how badly it could have gotten. But, no - they had to be responsible and give President Bush TARP and stimuluses. :(

On this we certainly agree, tenguy. I seem to remember that you voted for Obama, hoping he would start a federal works project. Instead, he expended his near 70% approval rating on behalf of a health program most Americans do not seem to want.

If he had addressed unemployment first, like Roosevelt did, and if he had succeeded in reducing it, like Roosevelt did, he would have had the political capital to move forward with universal health care, like Roosevelt did with Social Security, and other New Deal reforms that survived the New Deal.

Bravo!! They are everyday people that are trying to live the American dream. A dream that our government has slowly chipped away at. And from what I know...there are Republicans, Democrats, and Independents that have attended these. What the nay sayers are doing is trying to dismiss the Tea Party Movement by stating that they are dangerous or that they are racists or that they are insighting violence. So who's being narrow minded here? Our Constitution is based on negative freedoms....and we as people, should be grateful and thankful that the Tea Party understands that and wants to fight for those negative freedoms. We, as individuals should be allowed to give up our negative freedoms to another, but government should never be allowed to take our negative freedoms....EVER. Why on Earth would anyone want to depend on their government for something like healthcare? Isn't there any desire to do something for one's self instead of feeling entitled? I've worked hard and reaped benefit from it...I have no desire to have any government control how much money I make, what healthcare I get, or how much money I give to anyone else. I give to charity willingly, so why should I have to pay for my neighbors healthcare, or share my wealth with them, and why should they have to do the same for me? I work to gain money for me and my family....shouldn't other people have too as well? I don't care what party is in office...they just need to have the balls enough to stand up for Americans and the beliefs this country was founded on. By the way....I don't know about anyone else, but I feel that if you have so much disdain for your country....there others you can live in. I will continue to fight for our country and what it was founded on.

Once again you fail to see the forest for the trees, those with links to banks via mortgages and savings programs who would be hurt the most is the little guy. Upper earners and those of higher wealth have very little invested or borrowed from banks.

This conservative was one who advocated "let them fail", just as I advocated letting GM and Chrysler fail, we would be far better off to have the idiots gone and fresh minds running the surviving parts. And I was vilified by your left wing buddies.

You know that has not been my observation of your posts and arguments. You cannot preach the right wing noise machine bullshit propaganda, link their "studies" and "youtube evidence" and then turn around and try to pretend you are not partisan.

You've shown yourself to be nothing but with the exception of the occasional posturing proclamations of yours,
