OK so how'd the primary elections go for the Tea Party. Well they had at least one Tea Party backed candidate win.

But other than that Tuesday's primary results were a mixed bag of who was backed by who and who lost or won.

Which to me at least indicates that solidarity among the liberal/progressive/Democrats have a better chance of being successful in November than the divisions that have been created between the Republicans and the Tea Party.

 

Unfortunately Sharron Angle who claims to talk to GOD and says HE told her to run, won the primary, I think she wants to institute a theocracy and eliminate social security, veterans benefits and all subsidies especially unemployment.

I talked to GOD last nite and he told me she is lying.

I figured Ace would have called this one up last night to brag about all the Tea Party backed candidates who won their primary elections.

But here's what I think the Tea Party has actually managed to do. I think in the long run they will not only get Harry Reid re-elected, the Tea Party just saved his Senate job.

 

The Tea Party is doing a terrific job of getting incumbent Republicans defeated. It remains to be seen whether they can win general elections, where they have to win the votes of people who aren't clinically insane. People like Rand Paul and Sharron Angle have had to swerve hard toward the center, hide from the media, and paper over all of their past positions, in order to have a chance of winning.

 

They have also had to call in DC specialist spin doctors to re-due their campaigns and help them hide.

But I'm not sure that's even going to work. O'Donnell's fixation on masturbation and porn is showing up in a lot of places. Sharron Angle is getting hammered for God talking to her, and who's even heard of Rand Paul in the past month or so. That's the problem with hiding. The purpose of it is to not be well known, and yet name recognition is one of the most important factors in most elections.

Also, in politics as in life, friends may come and friends may go, but enemies accumulate. And the Tea Party candidates just made a bunch of them who won't forget or forgive. Instead since they already hacked each other to pieces now all the opposition (which will include moderate Republicans) has to do is pick up the worst pieces and run with them.

PS O'Donnell is a look alike wanna be Sarah Palin with the same evangelical mindset. Defeating her could be a practice run for defeating Palin in 2012. But I doubt Palin will last that long. Since she endorsed the candidates that will get the republicans defeated in November, Palin will also get the blame.

 

Opps, more bad news for the conservative/Republicans/Tea Baggers.
