Just to prove you wrong, for the 500th time, so you feel like a dumb ass bitch again, I had an investment opportunity with the company QT. I took out a loan, bought a shit ton of stock, turned out that first year was a damn good investment, I made the entire loan back and was able to pay it off. After that, I was offered a position to run 1 store. I brought in the highest profit in the entire city, by using basic advertising strategy. Then, I landed an amazing contract with a local gas company, so not only to I provide amazing service, I can afford to provide it at an amazing rate at a cheaper price because I am not importing from anywhere but locally, as others import from other states, sometimes other countries and pay MAJOR TAXES. I then managed to make enough money to buy my the store I work at. After that, I was making a decent salary, saved up enough to buy two stores, then lastly my third. The major one has food and a sandwich place inside, the other two are just simple little gas stations.

Half the nit-wits that the tea party movement is backing seem to not have the education to understand that when they get to washington all their promises will be forgotten. They call Chicago politics bad, but Washington politics are worse. Look at Scott Brown he already took the Tea Party money and stopped listening to me. I am a member of a Tea Party in Texas You DO have the right wing nut jobs that will show up and try to act like an idiot redneck but everyone seems to only raise an eyebrow and ignore them. Although some of the news paper clippings of the rallies look more like a bad episode of Jerry Springer. The majority I think just want to keep the government in check. I think there is a lot of silent panic due to so many changes being talked about and/or implemented that many consider a stray from capitalism, so I know people usually need to vent.
My state is rumored to still have the right to succeed and form its own government, I think most people consider it an option rather than a logical solution, and I cant see the State of Texas packing its bags and drawing a line in the sand.

 

No Texas does not have that right it was taken out after the Civil War. In fact all states technically lost that right after the civil war.

Because I think that's actually were all this irrational, illogical, and un-American activity is actually coming from; a fear of social changes that disrupt the status quo. Its the fear of changes, which we have no control over, that is propelling all the hate and discontent.

And the biggest fear and the biggest change can be seen within the Tea Party ranks because minorities now out number what has always been the White Anglo Saxon Protestant dominate culture up until now.

That is terrifying to some people especially those who have always enjoyed the perks of belonging to the dominate culture, and that frightens them and hate and anger are the secondary reactions to those inner fears.

Most of this has a lot more to do with; "press 1 for English" than anything to do with politics but President Obama has become the walking talking symbol for those fears.

 

Did they vote for this change or was it a federal mandate?

 

I don't know if the Tea Party will destroy America but I suspect Jon Stewart might destroy the Tea Party.

The Tea Party doesn't threaten America, it threatens what I hope was going to be a shift to the middle by the Republican Party. It is the extreme right and the extreme left that has represented this country for as far back as I have voted. Most of us live somewhere in the middle and I see little change for the good happening until both sides realize it is the majority of people in this country that are not being represented. It is the shift in Independent's votes one way or the other that controls who is elected and I fear that until said electees are no longer in the hip pocket of the DNC or the RNC nobody will get to live by the ideals our forefathers envisioned. The real thugs in this country aren't roaming the streets; they are in boardrooms, on Walstreet and sitting in Congress and led by a bought and paid for executive branch.
