Then why did Thomas Jefferson in many letters to churches say there is a wall seperating church and state? Come on he is THE founding father. He came up with a lot of the shit we stand for. Look it up the supreme court used his documents to show that the church and state must be held seperate.

The whole country is fucked, all I'm doin is stackin my money and ammo for when the big day comes. They say 2012 is when the world will end, but I think its when America will finally crumble. Too much debt, no jobs, we are not going in the right direction, some guy with half a brain will call out the government on their lies, and the people who have no money or jobs and have nothing to lose will put their lives on the line. Its only just a matter of time.

Now I think the presidency of Franklin Roosevelt was a miracle. I wish President Obama had Roosevelt's leadership ability, but it does not seem like he does.

The presidency of Roosevelt almost did not happen. After he was elected, but before he was inaugurated there was an attempt on his life. He survived, but a man he was with was killed.

Roosevelt's running mate in 1932 was John Nance Garner, otherwise known as "Cactus Jack." Cactus Jack was a good old boy from the courthouse gang in Texas. I do not think he could orchestrated the New Deal.

Tea party? Dangerous? That's cute. The left strategy of painting everyone in the middle and the right as lunatic extremists is honestly the most entertaining things I've seen in years. I hope they keep it up, because their hyperactive exaggeration of reality is going to be the very thing that humbles them soon.

I'm sorry but the fact that I don't like to write checks for more than my balance is hardly any indication that I'm an extremist or that I'm dangerous. Economics is about numbers, not feelings.

 

That is easy to say if one has a secure, well paying job one enjoys. However, unless one was born with rare and valuable talents one has been able to develop and market, one may find oneself at the mercy of forces beyond one's control.

 

Sometimes you have to work the job you don't enjoy to pay the bills, and work up to what you really want to do. Although I realize it may not be true for some areas in the country right now, it's usually a true statement that anyone actually willing to lift their hands and work can find a job. If you can't work, we already have social programs in place to assist you, and not even the most conservative among us have a problem with helping out those who are physically or mentally incapable of helping themselves. The rest are just lazy. Bag groceries. Mow lawns. I don't care what you have to do, be creative. There is always a way.

Should we end Social Security medicare and medicade?

Should we do away with public education in the US?

Should we encourage total war in the Middle East to hasten the end of the world and the second coming of Jesus Christ?

Those all sound like pretty extreme positions to me and everyone of those can be connected directly to Tea Party Candidates and leaders like Sarah Palin.
