We're ALL here free of charge and and no one is being forced to stay. To bitch at our mods for trying to do a job that is unpaid, voluntary and thankless is just plain stupid to me.

I can only assume you and chunky had very limited choices to fill the two positions, AND one of them had to suck.

You fight; resort to horrific name-calling; sink to the lowest depths of humanity and you do so without interruption. It's the way this forum has always been; it is the way it will continue to be.

I REALLY don't see what the fuss is about. Shake and ejls have my full support and considering all the whining I saw over the last few weeks (not to mention any time we are bombarded with spammers), I thought you'd all be a little more grateful that they're willing to help out.

I think there are some regs on here that forget what it's like to be part of a forum that is moderated for language and content. I've left more than one because you couldn't even say words like 'shit' or 'penis' or 'dick', etc. All content was moderated and topics open for discussion were strictly regulated. Even minor infractions would result in bans.The stickies dealing with off-limits speech and topics almost outnumbered the active threads on the first page. These people who bitch about perceived mod abuse don't seem to have any idea what they're talking about.

I've always thought you and Chunky did a great job, considering there were just the two of you. I have no problem with you getting some extra help, so you can take some time off now and then without the spammers running rampant. Personally I don't see what all the fuss is about either. Anyone that is willing to take on the job has my support and gratitude until they show they aren't worthy of it, and I really don't see that becoming a problem.

 

That's when Xyber was a mod and went on his rampage. He did a helluva lot more than just delete PMs so there has been some history of mod abuse here although I'm not saying YOU would do that, Shake or ejls, Chunky and piggit.

 

For the short time I hve been here,
I will say that the site has been maintained very well.
I wish the new Moderators the best of luck and please keep up the great work....
