The foundation of Christianity is that we are born sinners and we need Jesus to save us from hell. This fact is incontrovertible. Even the Episcopalians believe this. I find such a belief immoral and dehumanizing and serves to enslave mankind into a cycle of guilt and constant debasement before a vindictive and pernicious deity that gets off on the suffering of his 'children'.

For secular reasons I am pessimistic about human nature. This correlates well with the doctrine of original sin. Nevertheless, the Episcopal Church does not emphasize this doctrine. I do not ever remember a sermon about it.

Ever recited the Nicene Creed? It's one of their central tenets and the belief in the fall of man and the necessity of Christ for salvation is all in there.

As I have mentioned many times I joined Stormfront as a lark. As I expected I was banned, but I did not expect to be banned so quickly. I was careful to obey the Rules of Stormfront. People seem to have the impression that it's the mods who appoint new mods. This isn't strictly the case.
Sure, we sift through all the possibilities, taking into account factors such as tenure, attendance, geography and computer literacy. Then we approach them to see if they are interested, and some aren't.
We present our suggestions to Nophest and he has the final say.
Then Lemark makes the changes, as the mods don't have the necessary buttons to do this.
