I don't think I've laughed so much in the last couple of days from the back and forth banter that's been going on in this thread and also Dee's latest......they sure do break the boredom from all the political shit.

 

On many occasions I have pointed out that I am only one of the many posters who likes deidre79, and that I do not tell her what to do and what not to do. She is her own person. I do not like everything about her. I do not like everything about myself.

 

C'mon Stumbler, I am waiting for your reply or Kimiko's. You and her are so right on here and I am so wrong. You and her are so liked and I am so disliked. You and her are real and I am fake. Have I ever asked you to DL? You like to praise me when it is convenient and then make excuses for Stumbler and Kimiko. Pathetic. Not everyone on here is going to like everyone so if you think I will sit quiet while they throw garbage at me dream on.

deidre you do fascinate me, and not in a good way, you are like a lot of patients I deal with on a day to day basis, your blatant paranoid schizophrenia and somewhat bi-polar presentation is interesting in the way we can all wait for you to explode, honestly I now feel jealousy towards Shake as he now as the power to see all your socks, such a pity we cannot see whether you are a troubled pubescent teenager or a middle age guy with serious issues. If you really were a therapist, I doubt you would make light of mental illness. I have been treated for clinical depression. One of the most beautiful women I ever dated had schizophrenia. Mental illness is not a moral failing, but a treatable ailment, like tuberculosis. Making a cruel joke of mental illness is a moral failing.

 

I had this same discussion with my mother's therapist one time. She said kind of the same thing. Your mother is ill she can't help the things she does and says.

My answer was that may be but while the things she may not mean to do and say the things she says, the hurt, harm and injury she inflicts is just as real and I will protect myself and my family from that.

Mental illness is also no excuse for playing hurtful and destructive games Distant Lover.
