The same guy who wrote that also said that it's impossible for the tea party to have a racist element and that the NAACP is the racist.

That is exactly what the Tea Party thinks of African Americans. Crazy!

When I partook in a peaceful protest of a Tea Party rally, a few came over and talked openly with us. But, most just preferred to shout obscenities at us and flip us off. Even the elderly people liked to flip us off.

I believe it is the NAACP who is the racist organization Whitey. I fully support the Tea Party because hopefully they are going to kick that muslim scum to the curb and maybe knock his teeth out. That would be wonderful and I can't wait. A zoo animal who praises Islam should never be President of the United States in my opinion.

Guaranteed no political party has demonstrated more overt racism and support for racism than the Tea Party has in the past week since the 1960's.

Yeah, no shit Sherlock, you're such a fucking genius. So what's that really mean? In the most cynical terms about three sentences in a 40 minute speech by the leader of the NAACP that challenged the Tea Party to denounce the racists among them, has now resulted in an issue the Tea Party will either have to fight vigorously or lose miserably in that same November of which you speak.

Of course. For someone who things racism is benign and racists are little inept jokes, never recognizing you are one.

Wanna bet. You're still too stupid to grasp the significance of this, but the majority of Americans do not hold nor tolerate the same racist beliefs and views as you and the leadership of the Tea Party.

And believe me. Many of the people commenting and denouncing Mark Williams have not lived long enough to see a more racist, prejudiced and insulting attack in their lives.

Apparently there are a few of those 80's minded folks left, call someone a racist and you have trumped their best argument.

Whether it is true or not, you have captured the attention of the world and put your opponent on an unwinnable defense.

Too bad the folks aren't buying it this time, the only ones wasting their time are those making the accusations.

There are some very viable questions that need to be addressed, little things like, the deficit spending binge, the expansion of socialist leaning programs, the handling of foreign policy, the handling of the ecological situation and of course the little problems of the economy and unemployment.

The latest diversionary tactic by the left will be met with a lot more skepticism this time around.

 

You're right on that one. Thus far the only people naively buying into this decoy are the people who were already "on the team," so it's no real loss. If it stays that way I suppose they will have to try something new to get people to ignore the real issues come November; but what can these people play other than the race card? Maybe I'm too young to remember, but I think that has always been the trump card in their deck. Or, more realistically, the only card in their deck.

 

Well you missed the second most important card, call someone uncaring be cause they are rich. That used to work pretty good also, but most people have figured out that it really isn't true anyways. Our esteemed leader has chosen to play that card next.

The "rich" pay more taxes, the rich donate more to charity, the rich hire folks to work in their businesses, the rich support their communities and the rich shoulder the load for developing more jobs.

Come to think of it, the "rich", that they talk about really aren't much different than any successful person is. When a person excels in their field, be them a physician or a sanitation worker, they feel pride in themselves and are rich with the knowledge that they are contributing to the society that they live in. They are not takers, nor are they enablers.

 

Honestly, do they have a little classroom where they teach you guys this crap? You cannot even argue, you just throw an inflammatory word around as many times as you can, at as many people as you can, and hope someone agrees with you, not because you made any sort of point, but because you convinced them the other guy was Hitler.

So pitiable that half of our political system actually considers that "strategy." Even more pitiable that it often works.

 

Well yes, of course, I suppose that is the logical next step. If they cannot divide the country through race they will try to divide it through class warfare.

I have no real problem with the rich paying more in taxes, AFTER the government proves they can be responsible with the money. At this point it makes less than zero sense to try to give more money to an admittedly wasteful and clearly clueless government, I'd rather it be in the hands of people who have actual business experience. Not that I don't hold the nonexistent real world experience of the administration in high esteem, I mean, writing on a chalk board has to count for something. I'm sure they have many untested college romance theories, from the likes of Marx and Lenin, theories that sound really miraculous; like all theories do before you actually put them into action.
