You know what amazes me beyond anything else though? You seem sincere when you say you didn't think the left did offensive things like that to Bush. Membership Rules:

• Each tea party/patriot group will only have one vote for any issue or agreed messaging.
• Each group maintains autonomy.
• Non-violent activities only.
• Local group may appoint 1-3 representatives (includes backups) to NTPF to participate in calls, etc. <Do not forward NTPF work products to general membership (only final releasable product).
• Do not forward or use NTPF member contact info for any purpose other than NTPF.
• May not use NTPF logo or endorsement for any purpose not approved by NTPF membership.
• Full disclosure required of any official partisan affiliation of anyone serving in a leadership position in the NTPF or member organization, to the organization leadership. In the event of an officially declared candidacy for public office, full disclosure to the NTPF membership is required.
• Participate in Federation meetings (conference calls or Summits) no less than twice a month. The NTPF does not admit organizations or groups who have “9/11 Truthers” as part of their leadership.
• The NTPF does not admit organizations or groups who are self-identified as “Birthers”.
• No dues are required nor is any solicitation of funding from members permitted.

Removal from NTPF:
Upon motion and presentation of case, any group may be removed from NTPF membership by majority vote of NTPF membership. Cause must be a violation of membership rules or other gross misconduct (for example inciting violence).
Revisions to Membership Rules:
Changes and modifications can be made to membership rules by majority vote. A motion and discussion must be made during one meeting and a week must transpire before final vote takes place at the following meeting so as to allow members time to consider the proposed change to those rules.

The NAACP is not a racist organization, it was created because of racism.

The President is not Muslim. Even if he was, it should not matter to Americans. At least not to real Americans, not bigoted Americans, like many Tea Party members are. Your post backs up what I am trying to point out.

Those America citizens who are set on making the US the country that they envision are not necessarily being anything other than real. What I thought we had was a country of many millions, each with a slightly different point of view yet coming together under a system that allowed one to voice his opinion.

To categorize someone participating in this system to be not "real" is a bit over the top.

You are a skeptic all right. But, you cannot see what is wrong your Tea Party. You should be skeptic of them as well. The Tea Party has come to represent several steps backward in thinking.

Rather, you should support a movement that is skeptical of the policies, not racially biased. Perhaps the Cofee Party is for you.

 

By the way, the Tea Party has now fired Mark Williams for his remarks. There are still more racists that they need to get rid of. Like the rest of their leaders would be a good start.

However, the Tea Party started all this boasting about they being Real Americans. I'm just shoewing how they are not being Real.

First my friend, I am not a Tea Party member nor do I support their cause directly. What I do support is their right to exist in our society and in our political system.

With every new political movement there is a period of flux, people will come in to the fray attempting to incorporate their pet beliefs into the mix. The Tea Party is going through what the Green Party did a few short years ago.

Some of those who are scrambling for attention are fringe lunatics, but even they have a right say what they believe. The key for the Tea Party, if it to be viable, is to focus on what the core platform is and to either shed or mute those who are disrupting their collective efforts.

For some to sit outside and take potshots at the group, because of a few (or many) racist or other unsavory types, seems a bit cowardly.

Women must wear full body dress and when married never look on any other man different than her husband or father until married... Otherwise she is beaten to death, stoned, or burned alive.... These things do happen... Iran, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, and the list goes on... Things have gotten so bad in Countries in europe where Islam will soon be majority populations like Sweden, christian women have to wear viels and full body dresses in some places just so they aren't beaten, burned, killed, or raped...

Ah well in a NAACP meeting in my state of virginia there was a fuss in the Richmond Times, because next to the NAACP spokesperson at our colliseum there was a Black panther and his bereted entourage with crowbars and other sorts of weapons and alot of cheering... cameras were barred and ones that did get through confiscated but the reports are grim...

This leads me to believe atleast in my state that they are in league.
