Yes, it is. Maybe not to that individual but we don't live in our own little universes where reality is entirely subjective. When you lie there can be consequences. This is the result of her lies.

 

Stumbler calls everyone he disagrees with a liar. Usually laced with a liberal dosage of profanity. What do you suppose the percentage of these charges are true. IMO, I would say less than 5%, therefore my estimate is that 95% of the time his claims are false.

The difference is that she apparently told lies about you and the other moderators. Yet you walked into those threads during the last few days and goaded her into even more claims. To me your intent was obvious, get her really cranked up, well it worked.

In this way her accusations were dead on, as far as piggit and Chunky goes I have no way to determine the validity of her claims.

 

And those lies have consequences, do they not? Not all lies lead to banning, you're setting up a false dichotomy. But if you want to lie consistently for over a year regarding the admin and his chosen 'employees', then when challenged with an ultimatum, flaunt the fact that your constant assertions were nothing more than bitching, the consequence in this case is banning.

As someone above pointed out, this is nophest's house and we are here at his pleasure. Up until today, he has been content to let us sort things out amongst ourselves. Today he decided that enough was enough. He was tired of one member causing so much discord among so many members based on groundless accusations. Attacks against mods had increased since last week, largely because of Deidre's ever-present goads and other members began to fear that they would be 'targeted' as Deidre insisted she was. Members who were newer than the peach fuzz on a baby's ass began talking about mod bias and posts being wrongfully deleted, etc. But she was never treated unfairly, it was just one long string of lies she choose to issue because she couldn't get her way.

I don't mind poking Deidre with a stick now and again, but it's usually limited. As was already pointed out, I kept my conversation with Deidre exclusively in the mod thread. I didn't talk with her in the poll thread, I didn't talk with her in the 'not like diedre thread' (didn't even post in that one) and in the 'do you like Deidre' thread I had two posts of twelve where I said anything to her, neither of which contained an insult. Well, I implied she was vain, but calling that an insult or 'goading' is stretching it. I even asked stumbler and red to back off of her.

Yes, these are all the actions of a person trying to goad her in to thumbing her nose at nophest and getting herself banned.

I agree with piggit that had this gone on behind the scenes and Deidre simply turned up banned, the outcry would have been even more severe. In this way, people can clearly see what nophests reasons are and we can clearly see her response to them. There will be no confusion about who said what to whom and why actions were taken.

This isn't some random loon spamming threads. dee-dee is one of the most prolific posters in this community, and has been for years.

If you had PM'd me two weeks ago and asked for my login, my email, my real name, and my IP I would have told you to go to hell. I'm a little galled that an organization I placed my trust in with this information has chosen to extend that trust to you without my consent. I would put you in the same list as bawler and dee-dee of people who I would "Absolutely Not Trust With Personal Information" - particularly in light of your conduct over the last few days.

I suppose the onus of proof is now on me lest I share dee-dee's fate:

- You consistently refuse to accept a portion of the responsibility for emphasizing dee-dee's conduct, even in your post quoted above where you characterize her recent behavior as both somehow exceptional AND deserving of punishment, as if you merit the ability to judge and punish others for poor conduct.
- You quote another member in every post you make with the intention of defaming said member, and have refused to delete your signature upon the request of said member.
- You have a pattern of characterizing other members with offensive and obscene nicknames, including said member described above. George Bush used to do this to dehumanize his staff.
- Your first post regarding your new station bragged about your abilities to check other member's logins.
- You have chosen to self-aggrandize by including moderator in your signature to lend yourself gravitas in casual conversation, while consistently talking out the other side of your mouth by describing the position as meaningless. This is atypical conduct of XNXX moderators in recent years. chunky elects not to do it, and while Piggit does - she also goes weeks or even months without posting.
- You have been online on this forum for nearly the last 3 days straight defending your conduct in regards to this situation. If this isn't the sign of a mentally unstable person, or at least a person who doesn't merit the confidence of the community, I don't know what is.
- Pudding: Two weeks ago, dee-dee was crazy and a member. Today, you are a mod, dee-dee's still crazy, but somehow her conduct now merits her ban. You have pushed and cajoled your personal vendetta. Congratulations.

I have no idea what came over the administrators to select you and EJ as moderators. I don't want to lump EJ in with you, because her appointment isn't nearly as egregious; but she's already shown her casual disregard for XNXX customs by locking threads (and having said thread unlocked by administrators later) and her new-found and carelessly exercised authority could mix with her personal grudge against lousy story comments and other authors for a nasty combination down the road when people become accustomed to her authority and stop questioning her activities.

If I were in the administrators' shoes, not only would I NOT select you, you would be near the bottom of the list with bawler and dee-dee.

I don't understand why Kimiko and tenguy aren't moderators right now. dee-dee would have bitched the same about Kiki and Kiki would have ignored her and we would have been saved this week of acrimony between you and dee-dee. I have a whole list of people who would be better at this position: Cockateer, smcaaphd, Old Tool, Wafarer, Lioness, Empress Lainie, Elaken-Palmer, Rockprincess. This is just off the top of my head as I write this post. I'm sure I could think of lots more if I thought about it.

Your job is to delete Turkish spam and kiddie porn - AND NOTHING ELSE. There's a host of people who would perform this duty just as well without costing this community a long-time and prolific member. The cost of your services is too high.

In no way am I condoning dee-dee's conduct. I don't even particularly like dee-dee's behavior. Regardless, she was a fixture of this community until you decided otherwise. That's not how XNXX works.

Instead of washing your hands of the whole situation, how about you display your maturity and lobby the administrators on dee-dee's behalf before her 48 hours expires?

When you and I disagree on something it usually is quite strongly argued and debated.

We now have a topic that we wholeheartedly agree on and I think it fitting that we continue this dialog as strongly to the administration as we fight when we disagree. If DD truly earned her banishment, then Shake should be likewise stripped of his authority and banned to prevent retaliation.

So Deidre is being banned because Nophest was getting so many complaints about her behavior here? I agree that Deidre was out of line in the mod thread, however she was stating her opinion, something that takes place here on every thread. And some of these members here seem to think that being allowed to say whatever you want however you want is what makes this place so great.
Im not sure I understand how this person was making Nophest job more difficult. Was it because he got tired of hearing about Deidre from the mods? Surely he wasn't getting pms or messages from the other users.
I guess precedence has been set at this point though. Feel free to make up whatever you want about any member her, call them anything you want, deface them anyway you can, but NEVER say anything about a mod that you cannot backup or prove. Or else! *Jerk off Smiley*
