You have to build up to that, Vindaloo had started to taste just spicy to me before I had my first Phall but it was still a hell of a shock, if you weren't used to it I bet you thought that you had burned the inside of your mouth.

Vindaloo is a really nice spicy curry, just takes time to get used to the heat, then you will get the different spices coming through, Lime pickle on the side........ perfect..........

 

When I was a student, we used to go to a place (not on curry mile) where they served 'suicide' curries - it was the thing to do when you were tanked up. I recall going with a really straightlaced friend who refused to have curry and ordered egg and chips
