Well said. I think everyone, to some minor extent, is into mild BDSM. Such as using soft scarves or silk ties to tie their hands and/or feet to the bedposts once in a while. Or sometimes using a blindfold so you don't "know" for sure who it is - all while role playing of some sort. But, those who are into true BDSM more than likely are not with someone who isn't for long, as there are too many differences for that relationship to work out in the end.

As for being a sub or dom, it's all fine as long as both parties in the relationship know their boundaries. That goes along with being able to talk and discuss rationally one's sexual expectations with one another. If a couple can't do that, then there will be some unrequited sexual tensions.

Well said. Conversations, agreements, boundaries, and safe words are all a must. If the dom is not experienced, they may go overboard. There are some great sites out there that will help you learn, and with a contract, if you desire. Remember, it's about control, giving up control, complete trust and pleasure for both.
