I have an embarrassing problem, recently I bought a new pillow which is oh so comfortable and it is this that started the problem I now have. Every time I go near my bed it whispers to me.

"C'mon use me, you know you want to, just lay your head on me, feel my softness, just for five minutes, c'mon a short nap is a good thing it's not being bad, it's not cheating".

So I will lay my head down for five minutes and wake up an hour or so later, what can I do I am neglecting the other important things in my life like my recliner chair and television, please I need some serious help here.:laughing:

 

Take the pillow with you to the recliner chair. Why limit your affair to just one room in the house? You can also try the kitchen, the dining room...might want to be careful in the shower though.:excited:

 

What is more imprtant to you, Rich? Your new pillow or your faithful stash of Curly Wurlys? Dont give up what you already have for an air headed floozy

 

People might notice if I start trailing round the house with a pillow in my arms and a look of bliss on my face.:excited:

 

I'm trying to think of ways to combine the two loves of my life.:laughing: Maybe a small fridge by my bed.

 

A difficult decision I know, Rich, but I know you will make the right one

tell me more about the pillow - where did you get it - was it expensive?

 

Watch out for your old pillow...it may get a jealous streak if you ignore it too much. You might want to keep sharp objects out of its reach.

 

Seriously I love my new pillow it is so comfy. It cost me about £7 from the £stretcher shop and has that memory foam. Made by House and Home for Poundstretcher I think has it has both names on the laundry label.

I have solved this dilemma by going to bed with a curly wurly. As I have to put on weight and the dietician told me to eat anything I like and avoid things with "Low Fat" "Reduced Calories" on the label, I guess I can eat as much choccy as I like, aren't I lucky.:excited::excited:

Ooops I forgot about that, she (I guess it's a she as I have never been in bed with anything male) is now leaning against my wardrobe, and she don't look happy. I tried to talk with her earlier and suggested she could come back to the bed. You don't want to know about the screaming fit she had, called me a pervert, screamed about threesomes, threatened to tell the duvet and sheets all about me, I think they heard her because they are not talking to me and keep slipping off the bed during my naps, but the mattress is still on my side, good old box sprung girl that she is.:excited:

If you know anyone who could use a highly strung and slightly psychotic pillow let me know.:laughing::laughing:

 

So you lay down for five minuits and an hour or more passes? I'm affraid ,sir what you have purchased for yourself is'nt so much a "pillow" as it is a fluffy time machine

 

Her name isn't Lorena, is it? And I am suprised the mattress is still on your side - is she not aware there are memory foam mattresses out there as well, and she could be next? Or...and I shudder to think...she could be setting a trap to lull you into...

Her name is Sinoa, and she is still sulking even though we had a long chat about things, she told me that she had spoken with her four brothers, who are all scatter cushions, and that she would be leaving as soon as they can get round to pick her up, quite personally I think she is being fixed up with her cousin who is a beanbag.

No Petula my mattress would never set me up and I would not trade her in we have had four marvelous years together, and seen and done some wonderful things together, every night I climb into bed I tell her I love her, so I know she won't let me down and smother me in the night or collude with the other soft furnishings to harm me in any way.:laughing::laughing:

 

I'm jealous.

I wish I could find a pillow like that.

I'd be careful of the old pillow. You might find yourself waking up suffocated!! And if that *other* pillow is keeping you away from here, out the window it goes!!!

Oh the other pillow as now left, in a right huff we weren't married or anything and I know she made overtures to my brother one Sunday afternoon while he was sleeping off a big Sunday lunch and a bottle of wine on my bed. She wasn't the innocent that she is trying to portray.

The new one, I guess I better think of a name for her soon, just seduces me to sleep, she doesn't mind me chatting to ladies on "t'internet", not like the last one who would squirm about my back if I was sat in bed with my laptop, and then keep me up all night whispering nasty things into my ears, of course that could be schizophrenia, any way my new one seems to love me and loves me whether ia am on the net, sleeping or just resting my head and reading.:excited:

LOL - and just for the record, I LOVE the new title (mouth waters)

Memory foam is lovely when it's new, but I'm not sure if it has staying power - my mattress topper certainly has lost some of its lusciousness.
