I'm in an open marriage also, mostly stemming from my husband's voyerism. He's not in to other women either an it's just been with close friends so far.
It's worked out fine for us and doesn't seem a bad idea if you're both happy with it.

I'd just make sure that she has sexual fun for sex sake and not problems with your marriage. Though it sounds far more the former.

I knew a couple when I was younger that were in an open marriage. But only the wife had sex outside of the marriage. Her husband was like you, in that he had no interest in other women. He told me that he loved her so much, that there was no way he would deny her any pleasure in life. They were open and honest about it and his wife took both male and female lovers. Sometimes he watched, sometimes he didn't, but he was always involved.

Now, to me (and I don't mean this in a bad way although it will sound that way) women are like a buffet. They are all so different and so unique and so scrumptious, I can't imagine not wanting to taste each and every one. That said, my wife, said she has to approve any outside hanky panky. One day, she might and only then would I act on those desires.

As someone else said, you better make damn sure your both on the same page concerning it.

If you have no desire for another woman, I wouldn't do it. Work out what you and your wife want adding someone else just makes it more complicated,

That is true, she isn't. But that had nothing to do with it. We are still friends, we still sleep together, and we still have the occasional MMF 3some.
