AM, Stumbler's serious and I haven't seen him offer to pray for too many people on here!!

I've seen wounds take over a year to heal up so you should go see a doctor!! Don't make me come down there, calf tie you up and drag you to see one!! You'll have more to deal with than just the spider bite!!

 

note to self: Get spider bite so lioness can tie me up.

 

Recluse bites are a bitch, ck your nearest node, if swollen and sore get some antibiotics. The skin will heal, but then may deteriorate again. I had recluse bite to forearm and it healed halfway, then degenerated, then healed, then worse, took a full six months to get better, still have scar tissue from bite, you probably will always have the mark even if faint.

 

I am taking antibiotics.

And I am aware that I will have a scar for the rest of my life. Sad sad sad.

 

At least you've done right, without the antibiotics you'd be much worse off. Whoever said all wounds heal in time was never bitten by a recluse. I swear it was the worse immediate pain I've ever experienced, don't think a pitbull bite could of hurt so bad. Actually I know it doesn't. My brother's dog bit through my fingers and that was a cakewalk compared to the spider which was searing pain and it woke me faster than any alarm ever could. Good luck...have a piece of cheese toast on me, it will make you feel better.

 

Ok, I'm confused...you're taking antibiotics, but you haven't seen a doctor?

I've been to the doctor many times in the past. I got a lot of left over antibiotics.
