Still, in this case, as the others have said, this is not a victimless crime. Children are being abused to feed this man's enjoyment and while it is true to say that it has always happened and always will happen that is no excuse for you to partake. If one can even entertain the possibility that their voyeuristic tendencies may encourage someone to abuse a child and film that abuse then obviously, the reasonable man would not watch. Murder has always happened and always will, that doesn't mean we sit back and say, "Well, OK, it's obviously what the people want."

Should we have laws against violence on tv? Will that make me kill someone cause I see it on tv. Just because he watches it and its illegal doesn't make him a pedophile, having sex with children makes you a pedophile.

After 5 months of ritual barbarism and the reduction of the homeless population, the ringleaders of the distribution network, including two of the murderers (who killed themselves soon after being arrested) were caught and 95% of the tapes were found and destroyed and the distribution syndicate was destroyed.

The band had no means now to distribute and noone to watch what they were doing and almost immediately the kidnap and murder of homeless people stopped.

On a more serious note, if you have copied the files, i suggest you erase them, and erase them properly, then get rid of whatever storage device they are saved on, after you have destroyed it. By copying the files, even to incriminate someone else you have broken the law, and it not something you would want to get a record for. Don't confront him about, it is not your job to deal with him. Go to the police station, tell them what you found.

 

If this is all true, what really worries me is why you have to seek advice on what to do! He must be reported ........ simple as that.

I hope my cynicism about what you say happened is unjustified but I can't shake the feeling that your description of events doesn't ring true. No one, certainly not a pedophile, could be that stupid to leave ordinary movies and underage porn on the same external hard drive that other family members could find.

There is 1 thing u must check before you do anything. that is the law regarding invasion of privacy. This you have done, so speak to someone who knows the law in your country, before you act.

 

How do people feel about chemical castration or some form of medication? Would this negate the need to go to prison? Could he function as a normal adult (as he probably does in every other respect) if he agreed to it. Is it an infringement of his civil liberties if it's forced upon him.
