The Ravens do have the best defense in the NFL and like they say "Defense wins Championships"

 

I've been following the Eagles for over 30 yrs and went through many losing seasons, and
many disappointing seasons. After they blew that last superbowl a few yrs agos
I just got numb to them. I don't expect anything out of them.

I'm not a fan of trash-talk and I hate arrogance. IMO that's why I believed the Eagles lost
to the Pats. It was Freddie Mitchell who opened his mouth and sparked the Pats.
I like McNabb, Garcia was a get selection for a BU QB, but I won't get caught up.

Great if they win and if they do the first thing I'd say "well it's about time." and the organization owes us 4 more.

A lot of fans get arrogant. I don't know why. Eagles are the only team in it's division,
never to have won a superbowl. It's like there's a curse on the city...but there are worse teams. But before fans trash talk to Giant, Cowboy and Redskin fans, ask urself,
how many rings does ur team have? Win with class I always say.

You guys know nothing about let down and dissappointing seasons. If you were a Lions fan or live in Detroit you would understand. The Lions are the true cursed team of the NFL. They has never went to the Super Bowl, though some of their players did...after they left Detroit to play elsewhere.I stopped rooting for them when Barry Sanders left. The Loins are the biggest joke and the biggest disappointment in the NFL and the last 5 yrs has proven that.

 

I understand they are a sad team, but I did say there are teams worse than the Eagles.
So I guess ur not rooting for Marty Mornhinweg, whom I met a few times.

Anyway you guys have a great baseball team and how many Stanley Cups
has Detriot won. I prefer hockey to football anyway.

 

Yeah we do have the Big 4 here in Detroit: The Red Wings, The Pistons, The Tigers and in the WNBA The Shock. Plus It's not the coachs it's the organization as a whole (The Fords).

 

It's quite frustrating to root for a really good team, but can't quite grab the brass ring. But that's what a TRUE fan is all about. No matter how bad or good your team is, you still root for them.

Marty inherited a bad football team, he's doing great in Philly as the O. coordinator though. What's worse, it's a bad organization!!!! Terrible management! How the hell does Matt Millen keep his job?!?!?!?! Un-fucking-believable!!!!! He's HORRIBLE!!!!! He has too much pride to step down, when he should've a few yrs. ago, and the Ford family still keeps him around. No wonder Barry left the Lions, they are a bad organization.

I would've wished Barry stuck around for one more season to have the record for rushing yards, then to see Emmitt Fucking Smith get it, just makes me vomit. Imagine Barry running behind the O-Line Emmitt had in Dallas.

I'm only 18 and I've been a Philly fan all my life, well except for when I was a DALASS fan, which after I saw the error of my ways, converted very quickly back to the home team, and I have been let down by my town wayyy more than any other fan in any other city, I've seen Super Bowl losses, dumb losses to get knocked out before the Bowl by bad teams, I've seen the Phillies every year just barely miss the playoffs, I've seen the Flyers always make it one game away from the Stanley Cup and lose when they shouldn't, I've seen the Sixers, fuck up their orginaztion time and time again for no reason it seems other than that they are sadists, and I've seen every hope I've ever had in a Philly team gone in a single game

so don't compare your being a Detroit fan to being a Philly fan, no other city has had half the dissapointment we have, in every single sport

I was just a little kid when I saw the Flyers win 2 cups, I saw the Phils win in 80
and was also there for the Sixers but never a basketball fan. Now I'm waiting for
the Eagles... sometimes I feel it will never come.
