Normally I have some clear idea of who I think will be in the superbowl, but 6 of the eight teams left have faltal flaws or just doesn't seem good enough. I will put my opinion on the next group of games.

Ravens beat Colts: I love the colts but that defense just looks like too much

Chargers beat Patriots: Pats have so much more experience, but Marty's running a tight ship, and LT is having a career year

Bears beat Seahawks: Even if Rex messes up, I doubt the Seahawks will get the momentum nessesary to get past that defense.

Saints beat Philly: The only way the eagles could win is if McNabb came back and played like he did in the first 5 games. Saints two star, and fresh running backs will
tear through te Eagle's D in the second half.


I know just picked the top two seeds in the AFL/NFC, but this is because 3 of the four teams that made it out of wildcard weekend, barly played well enough to win. The fourth team, the Pats, will be facing what I think is the toughest team in the NFL, and my favoite to get to the superbowl (well if they beat the Ravens, which should be a very good game).

 

The Eagles are about to shock the world!!!!! Eagles win, Eagles win!

Let's see....if the Florida Gators, who were serious underdogs, can win the BCS Championship, why can't Philly beat the Aints????

 

I hope that the Saints actually make into the Super Bowl this year. Even if they don't this is the best year that New Orleans has had in their history, so NEW ORLEANS ALL THE WAY!!! I'm damn proud to be a Saints fan now.

 

I love how everybody is jumping on one team or another's bandwagon and all of the sudden everybody's an expert

okay let's see here, are you Saints fans forgetting that they only won becaue of a bone headed play by Jerome McDougle which led to a penalty which led to them having to beat the Eagles with a game winning field goal? How did McNabb play that game? Like shit. The defense sucked, the oly reason the Aints even won was because the Eagles beat themselves.

and let's see this weekend:

Seahawks over Bears-Bears have no QB and I don't care what you say, that's why they lost to the Seawhawks last year and they will again

Eagles over Saints-even without Lito Sheppard, the Eagles still have one of the best Ds in the game and they stopped Reggie and Deuce before and they'll do it again

Chargers over Pats-LT and Philllip Rivers are a good combination on offense, LT takes away the necessity to throw the ball which makes Rivers have less of a chance to fuck up, although the Pats still have Tom Brady and as much as I hate Brady, he's the man come playoff time

Ravens beat Colts-I'm still iffy on this one but I don't see the Colts beating the Ravens D

I was watching the game when Philly played NO earlier this season on the NFL Network, and you're right, Philly did beat themselves, and Drew Brees had a great game. Drew won't play as good this time, guaranteed. Philly won't let the same mistake happen. :mrgreen:

I have to agree with everyone on the chargers. But I have been rooting for the bears all year. (My co-worker lives for the sole purpose of being their biggest fan, rubbed off on me) So I am hoping that they make it this year, but I have to admit that it doesn't look very promising. Their D wins their games. Rex has consistently made key errors.

As for the eagles, they can't be counted out by any means. I thought their season was over when they lost McNabb. But they are still very much in the running.

Well, only time will tell. I guess all I really want is some good football.

I don't know what history book you've be reading but the Lions have NEVER won a Super Bowl, hell the Lions have NEVER been in a Super Bowl.

Yeah, I don't know about him. He does go out to play hard, but he is NOT as good as people put him. He is very good, b/c of his toughness and goes all out pretty much every game, but if you take 60 shots a game, you are bound to become the NBA scoring champ too.

Yeah the Bears haven't really shown me anything this year. There test will be this weekend.
