Epic fail by the Yankee offense - only one guy in their lineup managed an average over .300 this series (Cano, .368 ) . . . A-Rod, .156; Granderson, .154; Thames (the frickin' DH!), .154 & Swisher, .056! Ouch!

The Rangers, on the other hand, had 6 guys in their lineup over .300 They will be a real challenge for Giants pitchers next week!

Congrats to your Rangers. You may be right about Lee, but I am willing to bet Boston (my team) will start the bidding and NY will keep upping it until Lee has a hard time walking away from the cash. As far as ARod yes he is an ass, and Ranger fans probably have a little extra in their celebrating knowing they have come back from that awful contract that weighed the Rangers down for so long.

 

Give the devil his due, the Yankees had the third best record in MLB, behind Phillies by two and thr Rays by one. That ain't shabby by any measure. They did it on balance, not by slugging.

Texas had a dimension that NY was missing, heart.
